Manchester Tavern — Restaurant in New Franklin

Stopped in on a Monday night, which was burger night. The burgers were big and for $5.50 it was a good deal. Food was hot and came in a timely manner. Fries were pretty decent but slightly undercooked.

The service wasn't great though. Even without a packed bar the bartender struggled. Short changed us $2 on the bill as well. More training would be a good start. Communication was lacking and some things were overlooked on the order as well.

Good atmosphere.

Bathrooms were absolutely horrible though. Women's room was pretty dirty. Mens room was nasty. I would consider revamping restrooms and also adding a divider in the urinal atea so you don't have to pee in the pocket of the guy next to you.

It should be a 2 star review but I will be generous this time around, unless nothing changes in our future visit I will adjust downward.

Worth a shot... but don't...

Pros: Great food! Absolutely amazing wings - you have to try their 'magic' wings. Everything else is delicious as well. Very friendly service and the kitchen is open everyday. Not too crowded so it's easy to get in and play some darts or pool. Perfect even if you just want some take-out! If you're eating in, amazing specials throughout the week. Very clean and super clean bathrooms. Nice big screen projector TV.

Cons: A smaller bar so if you want to sit in back, don't expect amazing service. The server will come, but not too often - expect to get your own refills. Sit at the bar if you want to...

Horrible food have ordered here several times and every time Horrible this time ordered shrimp was so overcooked I couldn't even eat it it was so hard, ordered a chicken wrap and got it on a bun not a wrap the edges of the bun was burnt and the chicken was full of grissel my husband said it was gross. The only thing that was good was the fries. My daughter ordered from Manchester tavern it was for a gathering of 5 people and not one person liked the food most people only ate 1/2 of what they ordered. This was the last time we will be ordering food from here. Dissatisfied...
