I placed an order today through my McDonald's app and for the seventh time consecutively when the order was picked up or delivered it was incorrect. I am convinced that the folks that work at this particular McDonald's do not bother to read the order screen. Simply glance at it and give you what they believe it should be, I hope it's not a situation to wear the person or persons that are making the food can't read. When I called and spoke with a manager she had a very poor attitude and was unfamiliar or didn't care to learn about how the McDonald's app functioned and that you could order food through the app and have it delivered, she was convinced that I had to order it through doordash or Uber eats. She did not believe me when I said I ordered delivery directly through the McDonald's app. She became hostile and very combative when I insisted that you could and I even offered to drive up after having my food delivered. I offered to drive up there just so she could see the receipt and how it was really ordered through the McDonald's app and not a second or third party. When I reach the store she was still very hostile very short patient and her attitude was that of someone who was very racist and in the future I will never ever visit this particular McDonald's again in the future. Read moreThe worst McDonald's restaurant experience that I've had in the Akron area was on Manchester Rd. This restaurant is consistently filthy and provides awful service. The food is often a crapshoot (no pun intended). This Coventry location recently removed the boat theme from its dining room opting for a stark, cold, industrialized design that is fitting of the poorly heated establishment. A frequent visitor will more than likely note that the toilet paper holders often remains empty for several days and the emptying of the trash is not high on the priority list. The fries are often served as cold as the water provided to wash your hands with in this cost cutting location. I've witnessed several unhappy customers demanding the corporate number to complain because the management is never willing to resolve the issue and are often the problem. Good luck with special orders, and requesting fresh food will audibly anger the already disgruntled employees. Avoid this location if at all possible along with the other filthy McDonald's further down Manchester Rd. However, we decided to give it a try today since we were told of a smaller menu so figured the chance of having a wasted money and meal was low. We were wrong. We only ordered 2 large big meals, cokes. There was only one other car in the drive thru. Our food was cold. Fries clearly old, sitting out. Big macs clearly made sometime prior bc they too were old and cold. Not only were we surprised that we paid over 17 dollars for 2 MCDONALD'S meals, but then to get food that we had to toss instead of eat. wow. given the current conditions i am shocked at the quality of this particular location. This was definitely the final straw with this location, sadly for take out, our small community doesn't have many choices without driving to neighboring communities.
