Mulligans Grille & Tavern — Restaurant in New Hartford

This was an excellent experience. Our waiter was fantastic, without being overbearing, the portions were gigantic, and everything was excellent for everyone in our party.

The burgers were gigantic and fresh made, the Grinders had fresh ingredients, and the salad was excellent as well with good dressing. The boneless wing portion was gigantic, and we took most of it home. The loaded nachos had fresh ingredients on top of them, and the meat was seasoned very well. The home cut fries were excellent as well, and the sweet potato fries were among the best we've ever had. Portions were enormous, we all brought stuff home which is something that we rarely have happen.

There are even some vegetarian options, and there are multiple options for kids as well. This is a place where everybody will be happy. There are stairs up to the main entrance but there is an elevator off to the side on the left of the building.

The atmosphere is really New England Mill inside, which is good, and it's very clean and well it.

We stumbled across this place after going to the big antiques place on route 44. We also found out there is a great set of artisan shops on the 4th floor of the mill that is attached to the restaurant. Definitely worth checking that out as well.

After spending some time in the Farmington River, we found Mulligans, located not far away in a rustic mill building. We came hungry and left very content. The menu feels like being sandwiched in comfort - any appetizer, salad, sandwich or burger you'd want to have is here, with enormous portions. We started with a Long Trail Ale on draft and a strawberry refresher. The refresher tasted just like an alcoholic version of what Dunkin sells. Delicious enough to order a second. We also had bone in wings, 6 of Garlic Parm and 6 Sweet and Spicy. The Garlic Parmesan was the winner, with crisp skin and a garlic Parmesan cheese that wasn't overbearing. For entrees, we had the Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap and the Smokehouse Burger. The wrap was tasty but still light. Other Chicken Bacon Ranch wraps can be heavy, but this one wasn't. The Smokehouse burger was delicious with a touch of maple. Opt for the tater tots and you'll have enough to share with your table. Just wanted to share our experience with having Mulligans cater our recent baby shower. Everything was beyond my expectations. Mel, Shannon and all of their staff did a spectacular job of setting up and catering to our needs. The room was the perfect size for our group of 40. The linens and tableware were perfect and the staff even inspected every glass and flatware to make sure there were no issues, very professional. The appetizers and dinner that we selected were perfect and everyone enjoyed. They allowed us to come in early to decorate, and stay later to break down. Mulligans offered a wide variety of food choices to meet anyone’s needs. I would highly recommend if you have a special occasion that you would like to host, this is the perfect spot. Very reasonably priced for what you get, and you don’t have to do the work.
