Food - See pics. When a picture looks that good, and it tastes even better, words can only fall short!!! Amazing!

Fresh and hot!!!

Customer service - it's the little things that matter. Doing nice things to make a customer feel appreciated - these folks make it look easy! I was greeted instantly, with a smile and a warm welcome. I was given recommendations on the menu, which I am glad I took!

I ordered and walked out with Trixie, my service dog. We made it half way around the long building (the length included 2 other businesses) when I heard a man hollering after me - he was chasing me down to bring me a cup of ice and a fresh bowl of water for Trixie! It's a very hot day, over 80° and sunny so the water was a beautiful and unexpected treat! She drank it up while we waited for the meal.

Timing and delivery - it did not take any time at all for the hot food to be delivered, yes, carried out the front door and handed to me in the parking lot with another smile! When I went to my vehicle and open the bag, they included a nicely packaged meal, silverware, parmesan cheese red pepper, and extra napkins. I have to stress this because it seems that getting napkins with carry out food is not very common any longer.

I hope this review makes it back to the restaurant where the entire staff deserves a pat on the back for doing a great job. Obviously they work together as a team and are proud of what they offer. The restaurant is located next to Taco Bell which might be cheaper and easier at first glance, but truly has no business being next to this amazing little Italian cafe.

If you’re looking for REAL Italian food, search no further. Every single thing that we ordered off of the menu was absolute top notch in flavor and good portion size for the price. We will definitely be back every time we come through this area in the future. I am a very picky eater and very hard to please. They get eight stars out of a total available of five. I’m serious, it’s that good. The service was great as well with Tom answering all questions and customizing my order. The kind of service one only hopes to get.

After getting home and eating even more the next day I can truly say that my initial review was spot on. I got spaghetti and meatballs to go. I was expecting it to be good but it wasn't, it was fantastic!! I am an aficionado of homemade meatballs as I personally have what I consider to be the best recipe around. these meatballs were on pace to be the best that I have eaten outside of the ones in my recipe. Again, hats off to Salvatori's and the wonderful food that they create there. Not a doubt in my mind that they are the best Italian food in the state of Indiana and that by a long shot. You are cheating yourself if you don't go there to try literally anything on their menu. Truly thankful to have found this diamond...

With this being at a gas station, I thought it would be a Fazolis-style fast food place; I was way off! When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised that it is a dine-in restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice, as this could easily be a place you take your significant other out for a nice dinner. Though I didn’t get any alcohol, they do have a small selection of beer and wine, including their own sangria and lager (I believe).

The menu is large enough that there are plenty of options for everyone but small enough to be confident the cook staff is familiar with each dish. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich, a side salad with the house made dressing and Bosco sticks to go.

The salad was very good and the dressing is fantastic. The Italian beef is great: the bread seems to be calzone-like, a lot of cheese and meat and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. A lot of flavors that combine perfectly. I am slightly overweight but the salad and half of a sandwich was plenty to fill me up.

The service was very fast, the staff was friendly and courteous, the food was good and it’s a nice atmosphere.
