Overpriced and disgusting quality. Menu is very small. We sat at our table for 10 minutes and no one came to even ask about drinks. We had to ask a busser cleaning the table next to us if they could get someone. She just got water for us and walked away. Waitress showed up with water 20 minutes after we were seated. We didnt even want water but ended up with 4 glasses of it for 2 people. Ordered a cold ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato and a grilled focaccia brisket and cheese. 45 minutes after we are there we get a grilled cheese sandwich and a not grilled brisket. The cheese on the grilled sandwich was like kraft singles cheese..no lettuce or tomato and just one piece. Hot mayo on the white bread. The not grilled brisket sandwhich had no cheese and the brisket was fatty, chewy and tasteless. My honey lavender chai latte was just a teabag in a cup of water. It had no taste. Waitress never came back. Someone I think might have been a manager was walking around asking tables how the food was. When my husband said ok she said just ok whats the matter? So we told her about the order not being right and she was nice and did apologize. She took it off the bill which was nice. The bill was still over $17 for a teabag and a gross fatty sandwich that was not large portioned btw. I dont mind paying a premium price as long as the quality is good. Sadly it was not here. If you want specialty coffee and a good sandwich you are better off going to wawa. Surprisingly the quality there is better and so are the prices! I have edited my review and added a star for the very professional reply to my review. I did look at the other locations reviews and they seem great. The food in other pictures from the mill creek location looks good. Hopefully things at the new location can be as good as it seems...
Read moreI was excited to hear a Coffee Co. opened up in new holland. I love the environment and the overall coziness of the place. Ladies by the bar are always pleasant and sweet. Even the gentleman busser was swift and kind. I mostly do takeout from Coffee Co. But the two times I dined in with my family I was waited on by the same waitress Lisa. Both times we dined in Lisa was in really rude rush! First time I ignored it and thought maybe She was having a bad day. We all have those. Second time around she greeted us and asked if we were ready to order, 5 minutes in to seating. After responding no she then asked what we would like to drink. I asked for an orange juice and she quickly switched to my wife and asked her. My wife said she would like a coffee and was about to tell Lisa what kind of coffee she wanted. Lisa quickly leaves the table to get my orange juice and coffee leaving my wife hanging with her words still. Lisa didn't even acknowledge my kids or even asked me or my lady what would the kids like to drink. After she comes back with my orange juice and my wife's regular coffee she did not want, she asked if we were ready. We pretty much felt rushed and quite frankly wanted to leave but my kids were hungry. I took a look around the whole restaurant to see if she was maybe rushing because the restaurant was jammed packed but it was not at all. This was pretty frustrating for me and my family. I wanted to just stuff my food down and leave that place. I even had to pay up front because she took way too long to come check me out. I am sorry to have to be that guy and leave such a review. I truly enjoy the place but waitresses such as Lisa can really ruin the experience and hurt...
Read moreManager/server Emily should really focus on serving the customers instead of spending time visiting with customers she knows, her boyfriend that came to visit her, and her employees, while neglecting everyone else. I had to go to the bar and ask for more water. She was my server and she never checked on me after she served my food. Not once. Her employees were just hanging out at the bar chatting and not really doing anything productive. She lacks the maturity to be a manager and run the restaurant in a productive way. Not to mention the stress she puts on one of her employees with her attitude. I wouldn’t trust her to run a popsicle stand. By reading the response to this review it’s clear this behavior in the coffee shop is condoned or ignored. A response like this represents a problem that starts at the top. The new manager(James) that replaced the one in this review isn’t much better. In fact, he’s worse. The disrespect he shows to the employees and their needs and limitations is on full display. A manager that doesn’t value his employees and treats them like pawns doesn’t deserve to run a business. Steamrolling over people that are doing their best to lift up a business because they care about that business is a great way to develop a revolving door and ensuring the good employees don’t stick around, leaving subpar performing ones to continue an unhealthy work environment. Again, that starts from the top,...
