Most ridiculous experience I have ever had ordering from a restaurant. My husband ordered a basic pizza with extra cheese, bacon and garlic. We added a side of fries and mozzarella sticks. Not only were they 20 minutes late With the pizza, upon arriving home, we noticed that someone had put literal tablespoons of garlic all over our pizza. When someone orders the garlic, I don’t believe that they are hoping to get tablespoons of garlic in their mouth every time they take a bite of pizza. It was gross… not even edible…. In addition, our mozzarella sticks were not cooked and the french fries were cold the most basic things that a pizza shop should be able to make. because we had four children and didn’t have time to deal with it, my husband decided to start making macaroni and cheese. We called the pizza shop and told them what had happened instead of them apologizing and offering a refund, They begin arguing and insinuating that we were trying to rip them off and that we must return the unused food in order to get a refund. I told them that I had children and that it was ridiculous for them to expect me to drive all the way back when I’m trying to take care of kids and they already inconvenienced us by making horrible food , needless to say I actually did put two children and one of them a baby and drove to the pizza place which was 10 minutes away. I asked them upon arrival to please come out and get the pizza because I had a baby in the car and I couldn’t come inside. Even though they told me to bring the pizza back, they refuse to come out and get the pizza so I had to quickly exit the car and left the pizza inside with one of the waitresses And ran back out so I could be with my baby who didn’t want in the car. I called back and asked for them to refund our card now that they had the unused food. they refused to refund and the owner got on the phone and started screaming at me And told me he was gonna call the police on me. He also accused me of being somebody who causes problems in his shop all the time except we never order food from there so he must be confusing me with somebody else. It’s very obvious that they have problems with numerous customers , we live over in East Earl and normally go elsewhere but because they were closed on Monday we decided to try this place . My family and friends order from Palermo but I’m sure after the story gets out people will think twice. No one wants to have the police called on them for someone messing up their order or a restaurant owner not taking responsibility for their mistakes. We can easily dispute this on the credit card, which will be happening. I was just trying to show them and honor their request to return the pizza which I didn’t need to do. Literal mouthfuls of garlic all over our pizza. Disgusting gross food. ...

This was a recommendation from a local nurse. I had a chance to visit Rosario's down Route 23 in Leola 2 weeks ago so I was ready to do a foodie stop focused on southern Italian cooking. Plenty of free parking in front. Easy access with no steps! Tables & booths in a very basic dining room with an open kitchen & takeout counter in the rear. Quick seating & attentive service by the waitress, Becky. It was about 4pm on a Friday so the dining room was somewhat empty! Looking to order like dishes from Rosario's so I started with the garlic knots(best I've had outside of New York), calamari with marinara sauce( too good to believe), small "supreme" pizza(loaded & heavy & juicy), veal francese with fettuccine (4 delicious cutlets swimming in garlic & butter with a huge portion of pasta on the side), garlic bread & large mixed green salad included, then ordered To-Go large super Italian cold sub & a large sausage, green pepper onion hot sub & a large cheesesteak sub! A substantial portion of the food plus the 3 huge(13") subs are for this weekend! What can I say Rosario's vs Palermo's! Both have super food, service & like pricing! Try them both if you're in the east side of Lancaster town. Oh, a shout-out to wonderful Roxanne at Palermo's! Talk to you after I visit Ruffino's next...

So, when checking into our hotel, the gentleman at the desk had suggested this place, 4 times lol. He made a lot of promises.....and yall kept them. Let me start off by saying that as a person scrutinized by reviews, I review every place I go. We arrived at 10:30 pm. It was 1/2 hour before closing. We didn't want to be "those people", as we didn't want to mess up their, already cleaned, dining area. No no. They insisted we stay and eat. Wow. Our waitress, who's name I didn't get, got a tip she deserved. If I'd had more than 20 in cash on me, I'd have given it to her. She was that good. We ordered a bunch of food, and she warned us that we'd never get to eat it all lol. My wife got calamari and I had wedding soup. We could have stopped there because the portions were so large, that we forced ourselves to stop eating, so we could save room for our sandwiches. Let's get to the sandwiches. We both ordered the "small" version. We were barely able to eat half of it. Those sandwiches cost 8.75 a piece. We get 1/4 of the sandwiches where we are from for much more money. Consequently, we took over 1/2, back to the hotel room. Your food is awesome. Your people are awesome. Your facility is awesome. It's...

A pizza shop, in general, is a great way to start a successful restaurant chain. The business restrictions and decisions are kept from the customer's eyes. All that matters is the quality of product: the pizza. Now one could surmise then, that the better the pizza, the better the restaurant success because wouldn't there be a ton of people leaving good reviews to let others know about the quality of pizza on Yelp? Unfortunately? Not at all the case. Here's the truth? this pizza is way too good to be from Bumble, PA. No offense, but who cares so much when it’s made from quality ingredients? It belongs on your dinner table tonight. Truthfully? It's not the best pizza I've ever had--just so you know. But you would have to fly out to Ibiza (Mediterranean) for that...but I'll save you the trip. This pizza can hold it's own. Good work folks! let me know what your thoughts are about it when you've tred it!
