Save-Mor Groceries — Local services in New Holland

I just searched groceries on Google maps and was surprised to discover it's an Amish grocery with a handful of buggies parked in back. As such, it has rather a strange selection of items. The bulk food is great! 50 pound bags of all sorts of things but also many things broken out into smaller sizes in clear plastic bags. Great for nuts, fruits, grains, pastas, beans, etc.

They have many local brands and locally produced items (and raw milk from Amish dairies), yet they also carry some bags of chips and candy and standard junk food. It is NOT a massive commercial supermarket with 10 different brands of every item.

The really good news is that the siple approach turns out to be EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. I walked away with two large reusable bags of groceries for $46 which probably cost twice as much in a supermarket.
