Waffle House — Restaurant in New Iberia

The last two times that I visited this location were awful. The first time the staff were arguing with one another about who would make my meal, my entire party got their orders wrong and by the time I had gotten my food, some of my party were done eating. On top of that, the cook didn’t seem to care that the entire restaurant was complaining. The second time, the lady who took my order was half awake (mid afternoon) and seemed like she was on drugs, and I ordered a two egg breakfast and an all star with no eggs. She gave me a two egg breakfast with a waffle and no toast or bacon. The order was completely wrong and when I made it known it was wrong and some was missing and asked for a refund, the lady instead blamed ME for my order being wrong, saying she gave me what I asked for, even though the receipt stated exactly what I asked for perfectly and they charged me for it. Safe to say I’ll just go to a different location the next time I want...

I went to this waffle house today with my Godchild, & sister. I'm not from there, so we decided to stop and have lunch. Up on walking in I noticed a flyon one of the table's but I didn't let that stop me because it could have come in through the door opening. So we preceded to go to a booth by the window, as I was about to get a napkin from the napkin holder a batch of I guess they were (sugar ants) just started crawling all over the top of it , and I said oh ants!! You would think the waitress would have said something!!. Apologized or something!! She said NOTHING!!!. I looked at her and said we'll try the counter with the stools but it was dirty!!. I just left and another employee was looking at us like we did something wrong.....REALLY!!!. UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!😟😟👎🏾👎🏾. I don't normally write review's but this was Ridiculous!!.. Need Better Customer Service over...

I'd been here before years ago and hadn't been in a very long time because the food and service were lacking luster. My son wanted to go, and so we did, even though I was hesitant. Shay was our waitress, and her service was ABOVE AVERAGE for any waffle house I've ever eaten at before within a 100-mile radius. She was very pleasant and attentive to all of her customers, including my son and I. A customer came in with a peculiar and strange request of burnt toast. She made sure to get it just right. She was a real gem, and I will be back just because of employees like her. The food was cooked to perfection and above standard as well. The waffles were fresh, hot, and delicious, and so was the patty melt, eggs cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Whomever the manager is is doing an amazing job at turning this...
