Italian Fiesta Pizzeria — Restaurant in New Lenox

Ordered two large pizzas, one small, and 2 - 6 piece cheese sticks. Driver called asking for the address because what he was given wasn't correct. By the time he got to us, the pizza was not hot, or even warm. And the sausuge and pepperoni was very scant. Already upset by the lateness of the pizza, I didn't realize they forgot my cheese sticks. Call him back and he says that they did in fact forget them. By the time he brought them back, it was 35 minutes after the pizza had been delivered. And they gave me a tiny plastic cup of red sauce for 12 sticks. I understand it was a Friday night, but no follow up, no apologizes for the lateness or missing items. I'm new to New Lenox and have been trying out pizza places. Underwhelming doesn't even begin to describe this experience. We are new-ish to the area, and after trying all the local pizza places, this one is our favorite. We hosted a kid’s birthday party this weekend, and when I called to place a pizza/pasta catering order, I was told it may be too late (the party was the following day.) The woman on the phone placed me on hold and a minute later came back to let me know they’d accommodate us, but in the future, to order a little sooner! Understandable! They even made the pickup time a little earlier than they normally would start, since our party was abnormally early. They really took care of us, and even helped my husband carry everything out to the car. Everyone loved the food, some even asked to take some home! This place is a staple on Chicagos Southside for years. Traditional Chicago thin crust, and square cut tavern style pizza. If that type of pizza is your preference you will like this place. The sauce was distinctively less sweet than I’ve noticed on comparable pizzas. But their sauce was not bad. The cheese was standard but good and the crust was appropriately thin, and inconsistent or too thick in places. I had the sausage and cheese. The sausage was actually delicious, and perhaps one of the tastiest on this style of pizza that I have had.
