Cheng's Gourmet — Restaurant in New Lexington

Was our 1st time eating there and spent almost 40$ for our family to eat and we really wasnt impresed at all. Only like one of the things we ordered had a good flavor. It was all bland n flavorless honestly!! The hot and sour soup tasted like mushroom water no favor at all. I mean 6 packs of soy sauce salt n pepper didnt even help!! The egg rolls where good. The sweet n sour chicken was good but u cant really mess that up. Rice was bland.. The chicken n mixed veggies was super bland. The regular lo mein noodles were good but the chicken lo mein was a little bland. It was severd hot so that was like the only plus. Seemed like they watered down all there flavors. If they would use more favor n more seasoning or whatever it would probably he excellent however I prob will never waste that kind of money...

Their Chicken Chow Mein is really great. I recommend that highly. Everything else is kinda icky...The Kung Pau Chicken is also good. I am very picky about my Chinese and have eaten many many different Chinese places and this one has to be on the bottom of my list but It's local so when I have a craving for this food I do order it. They tell you your food will be ready at a certain time and I'm always waiting way longer than they say so that's...

They are absolutely wonderful... Besides being good and fast, I was having trouble with my bank cards and after using 3 different ones to get the $60+, they smiled and said...
