Barbacoa y Birria La Pichorrita #4 Restaurante — Restaurant in New Mexico

We ordered a pound of barbacoa and one order of birria to-go. I really enjoyed the barbacao. The red sauce goes really well with the taco and barbacoa. The green sauce (salsa verde) is little bit watered down so you have to put a lot for it to taste. The birria is a disappointment, looks more like regular tacos. Its meat does taste like birria but I was expecting more like real birria drench in grease and oil. Lol.

I did think twice about trying out this place because of the mixed reviews. Good thing I went. It’s conveniently located and is a great option if you do not want to cross the river.

Overall, I will still give it 5 stars and will definitely recommend. I will try their other offerings...

This is my first time eating here, I ordered over the phone 5 birria tacos, girl who answered the phone was very corteous and explained in detail my questions. Went to pick up order and was ready and was greated with an smile, from pick up window you are able to see the kitchen and everything looked very clean. But food was deceiving. Tacos had a very strong cumin flavor, and the meat was extremly greasy, couldnt taste the birria typical sauce. And it didn't come with consome, just a green and red sauce on the side. Very very disappointed...

Great place to eat and the flavor is good! I got a barbacoa torta/lonche for 7 dllrs, at first I thought it was kind of expensive but it was worth it, I realized I was full before finishing it and it tasted really good. I like the ide of having a "walk through window" to make your order without having to go inside the building, especially on this pandemic times.. Definitely will...
