FRUSTRATING!!! Hi drive up to Lotaburger Express, I am the only one in line and soon after a truck pulls up behind me. I order: “an it’s a burger, no cheese, no onions, no pickles, an order of onion rings also an order of seasoned fries and another small root beer. The lady Brenda read it back to me as “it’s a burger, season fries and a root beer”. “Again it is an it’s a burger, No pickles, no onions, no cheese, an order of onion rings and a small root beer, another order season fries and another small root beer. She then says let me read it back to you: “it’s a burger with season fries and a medium root beer. I said No! again, iShe didn’t read it back to me. Anne says, and it’s a burger season fries and two root beers. I said NO, you are not listening Let me repeat it to you again. It’s a burger no pickles no cheese, no onion, onion rings, and a small root beer. Second order season fries and a small root beer. she replied I am listening and you don’t have to yell at me. In the meantime there is now four cars behind me. So she reads it back to me again and it’s a burger season fries and two small root beers, (didn’t say no onions no pickles no cheese ) an order of onion rings and another root beer. At this point I was just too hungry to argue. I drove up to the order window, and I saw cars backing up and leaving. She then told me $19 and whateverI handed her my debit card, and she says it won’t take it. I replied good Lord try it again, she said it doesn’t take it, I then say get some help she calls employee she tells him in Spanish that he won’t take it he tells her I don’t know. I take $20 out of my personal pay. I get my order,? the lettuce is wilted it’s drowned in mustard and what’s worst it is the meat is salty. My brother then tells me I told you its horrible over here they never get anything right. I say yes but I wanted to try Lotaburger. Read moreThey served my mom and me RAW BURGERS, and almost stole my money through the transaction. I will never return to this location, or possibly Blake's altogether, ever again. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I ordered online and arrived to pick up my order about 40 minutes before they closed, so there should not have been any rush making the food. I asked the cashier if everything was in the bag and he said yes. I get home and we are missing a bowl of chile. The worker clearly did not check the bag and then lied to me.
I tried calling the store to get a refund on the chile (about $6 with tax). The phone line claimed that the store was closed (lie #2). I drove back to the store, where they were still open and serving food. I waited in the drive though again and got my refund. He said they were out of chile that night. So then why did they charge me the money still and not even inform me that they ran out of chile? They had my phone number from the online order.
While waiting for my refund, all of the cooks stopped what they were going and started staring at me through the window from the kitchen, as if I was some kind of spectacle to behold. This struck me as odd... until I got home to finally eat the food and saw that the patties were still RAW. Look at the pictures, there are NO excuses for this!!!
Those cooks acted like they knew they served me a raw burger!
My solution? I air-fried the patties for 5 more minutes, enjoyed my dinner, posted an honest review, and turned the other way. Goodbye Blake's! I really hope others heed this review's warning and go to lengths necessary to avoid this establishment.
By the way, having the workers and their friends post positive reviews would be ILLEGAL. How could an honest customer snap a picture of Diego's bacon in a tin behind the counter!?!? And then another review about Diego's meat pops up right below!?!? 🤨 Just look at how many 1 star reviews there...
Read moreToday I went and ordered there Chicken sandwich combo, I asked for no pickle or sauce, I wanted it plain, I didn't get this. I even asked at the window to make sure. I was in a hurry, I had to be somewhere and had ordered for my grandson, whom can't have the sauce, allergic, dropped it off and left. I got home at 5 and he hadn't had anything to eat because his sandwich wasn't done right. This isn't the first time, the difference is I was in town to take it back, I wasn't this time. Yes it's my fault fir not checking, but being in a hurry and there was only one car infrount of me and none behind you would think there wouldn't be an issue. I love eating your burgers, but it gets hard to want to come back when there always seems to be an issue. My burger the last time was so salty I had to add avocado to balance it. So dissatisfied at your Pojoaque restaurant. Here it is 2 months later decided to give them a chance again. GUESS WHAT? Same problem. The girl that took my order wasn't listening, I asked for the meal, asked for plain and didn't get either. So I guess no more chances. I guess I will have to go to Espanola instead. I had to wait 10 minutes with no one in front of me, all I could see inside is them playing around. Kids will be kids, without adult...
