Tried to order 10 pizzas for a basketball team party at 10am this morning and got some guy who abviously is not named Jim, Jacob, or Josh like he said his name was, I question if he even lives in this country. Tried to have them delivered to a gym where the team party is that is less than 2 minutes away from the dominos store and have them delivered at 6:15. He didn't know where the facility was and would not transfer me to the store so I could talk to somebody at the store who knows the area. I thought your local dominos was just that local. Guess not. They said they couldn't do timed deliveries after I got to the end of the order and still wouldn't transfer me to the store. I took my $175.00 in pizzas to Pizza 9. Talked to somebody who was in the store and they bent over backwards to do what I needed to help support the community. When we got there to pick up our meal, they said they were out of 2 liter cokes and replaced it with 2-20 oz bottles. 2 Liters = 67 oz. So we told the man that it should be replaced with at least 3 of them, and really 4 would've been a better compensation. The meal deal was obviously designed for a family of 4. (Everything could be evenly divided in 4). They refused to give us more than 2. Telling us we were getting the better deal. Seemed like Shel Silverstein math to me. 2 quarters is not better than 1 dollar. Less soda than what we paid for is not a better deal for me. Maybe for your business, but not for me as the customer. She rudely hung up on me so we aren't calling back to order any pizza. In case management actually cares & listens to the calls this was Sunday August 11th at 5:17pm we are new to the area. tiny bit more friendly & I would have become a regular customer. E DIT. I appreciate the fast response and only ask that the person who hung up on me be educated to be a little more patient & customer service oriented.
