Visited several times & NOW I am sitting to pin my experience.

A functioning thriving business in NEW ORLEANS EAST, that’s a source for all things seafood, CRAWFISH & the like!!!

If you know me you know I’m all about the mudbugs, crawfish, crawdads…

However, on this particular day, I was not getting crawfish, shocking huh. I was there to get sandwiches for lunch.

To be noted, one side of this establishment has seafood ie fish, crawfish, crabs etc. and the other side is the hot side, they offer lunch plates, sandwiches and the like.

The sandwich was half oyster + half shrimp dressed. When I tell you it was oh so tasty, I didn’t want to share, eating it all was my plan, lol.

The price was fair, the french bread was fresh as you know, that’s half the battle.

The customer service was excellent. I was provided ketchup packets, hot sauce packets + napkins. Only thing I didn’t like was the transaction fee on my credit card but next time I’ll have cash. I don’t remember this being a thing when I have been here before, but now I know; because knowing is half the battle right?

The off-street parking is great, the vast shelled parking lot is shared by a couple other businesses but there’s always ample...

I've been going to castnet for years & they have always been ontop of their seafood game. my last 4 visits Ive been told the EBT machine is down. I don't think they're being truthful & it has me bothered. Crawfish is expensive & the last time I was there it was $6.75lb. So yes I decided to let them know that we the customers see what you (Castnet) are doing. Of course you realize that crawfish is high in demand, but to use that as a reason to shun SNAP recipients is a sign of discrimination. There is no way in the world for over a month, that machine should still be down. I would rather you say you can't use EBT to purchase boiled seafood (or anything for that matter). I truly believe the owners thought nobody would say anything & had it not been for me using my gas 4 times on blank trips have finally tipped the pot. I really like them, but for me to feel this way is heartbreaking. So I'm hoping they will do something to correct this soon before they lose...

Wow, where do I start when it come to writing a review about one if the finest restaurants and seafood bar CASTNET lord know I love boiling my own seafood. But castnet does an absolute amazing job of making sure each and everyone of the customers leave satisfied and happy with the service that each one receive. I would recommend this great restaurant and seafood to all my friends and family members without any hesitation what so ever. I absolutely love feeling of being invited into a warm family environment. When you step into castnet restaurant and seafood bar you feel like you've just walked into one of your families backyard. I really can't say anything BAD about this wonderful restaurant and seafood/oyster bar. This truly a five star restaurant and they deserve too have a five star rating from all that have been there before and from those that we'll definitely return again and again. Keep up the great work that you all are providing in the city and...

This place mainly serves for takeout, there are only limited seating available, one indoor picnic table, two outdoor picnic tables. You need to take a number first to order when you enter the door. The seafood was fresh and delicious, we ordered 2 dozen of oysters for $26, their sizes were uneven, some of them were huge. We (4 of us) also ordered one soft shell crab one fried oyster plates, 3 pounds of crawfish, and a gumbo. All of them were good, crawfish was spiced nicely just to the point, and every one of them was delicious; soft shell crab had a fried aroma, it's crispy, but somehow lacks umami; seafood gumbo looked average, but it's tasted delicious, the soap ingredient includes sausage oyster shrimp, only thing was that I had to warm it by a microwave by myself since it was cold when i got it. Overall we spent about $100 for 4, ate more than normal, and took a plate food as leftovers not to waste food.

Castnet Seafood is one of the best seafood joints in the greater New Orleans area! Anything they boil is frieken amazing! They have boiled Shrimp, crawfish, corn, sausage, multiple kinds of crabs and much more. From all the way peeled to in the shell, the food is always delicious! They also have all the grilled and fried seafoods you can think of. From poboys to soft shell crab sandwiches, it all tastes amazing. I personally love the way the Cajun boil mixes with the sweet Alaskan snow crab. It is a flavor you can never do the same twice but always tastes like the best crab you've ever had in your life! The staff is full of rock stars with fun attitudes, thank you all for being so awesome! Ps. The water and one of the best snowball stands is right next door so you can entertain the kids while you wait for your food.
