Let me tell you... at first when I called I was like ummmm idk about them from an encounter over the phone with one of the reps. We went to our tasting and found exactly what we wanted. The cakes were delicious with a variety of different cakes and icings of your choice. We were kind of overwhelmed (in a good way) about how many cake choices there were to choose from. We tried Swiss (overpriced for the simple decorations) and other bakeries but the Royal Cakery was the absolute best. It was like as soon as we did our tasting, I didn’t look any further. I canceled the rest of my tastings. Anyway, almost a month before the wedding I wanted to change my color of my cake from silver to gold. I contacted them and Mrs.Sherell told me to email them with the changes so that they could have them in writing. With those changes I also had to change my cake stand. She was able to get me the most perfect cake stand to match as well, all last minute. They were punctual for my wedding. My wedding was in October of 2017 and I have ordered a red velvet and cream cheese cake for my husband’s birthday every year since then from there; we all enjoy it just like we enjoyed our...

Easily one of the most unprofessional groups of people I have ever tried to work with. Short story: We gave them a deposit of $500 to do our bride and groom cake. The bride cake was estimated at $1200 and the groom cake was estimated at $300. After a series of unforeseen circumstances we decided to only have our groom cake done by Royal Cakery. I even told them they could keep the remainder of the deposit as a bonus because they complained that they didn't know how to refund us. (not sure why they can't figure that out) Then within just a few weeks of the wedding - she took our contract, scratched out the $300 price and wrote $1100 and sent us the balance. Her only explanation was that she didn't think at first it would be that difficult. We decided to work with someone else and were VERY VERY pleased with their service. Royal Cakery refuses to answer any emails or phone calls on this matter and they even refused to address the Better Business Bureau of Louisiana when I filed a claim demanding our deposit returned. They kept our $500 for doing absolutely nothing but lying to us and giving us the runaround...

It has been my great honor to have been the King of Sparta this past Carnival season. Part of my obligation as King is to throw a party. We had the party at Messina’s at the Terminal at the Lakefront Airport and what a wonderful party it was! Sherrill and her the staff at the Royal Cakery did a fantastic job on the cake from the tasting to delivery and setup. We had a 4 tier cake all different flavors and icing. The cake was seamless and beautiful. Sherrill made sure the decorations on the cake was everything I wished for and what a fantastic job she did, not only with the taste, but in how she decorated the cake. It was truly a masterpiece. Everyone raved about the flavors of those delicious tiers. It was truly one of the best cakes I have ever tried. The choice of flavors was so difficult because at the tasting they gave us so many different choices the decision was difficult to settle on just four. It was sort of sad in a way there was virtually no cake left...
