I might be rating this place a little on the tough side, but I feel like it's a fair rating. Please also recognize that I like this place and might even go back. The folks running the place are very welcoming and nice and I love supporting local breweries. Having said that, it seems like mostly tourists visit this place.
Here's my honest impression - I stopped by for a mixed 4-pack to go after having visited a couple days ago for an afternoon pour, and nothing really left an impression. I figured I'd try again with a different selection, but $18 for a 4-pack of pint cans to go signals a high level of confidence in their brews, so I expected high quality. I like stouts so grabbed 2 of their imperial stout cans which added a premium of $6 for my 4-pack of mix and match. I haven't tasted all of my selections yet, but I'm disappointed in the imperial stout. I've had many imperial stouts, and this one is not great. It lacks balance and the flavor of alcohol very much over powers what I love about stouts - the malt sweetness, bitterness, and rich, complex undertones of chocolate, coffee, or even fruit sometimes. This one tasted more like an underwhelming stout that someone spilled rum or some other spirits in. To be very fair some people might like this flavor profile in their imperial stout - after all this is subjective - but this is not my opinion of what a high-quality imperial stout should taste like, and certainly does not merit the premium price. Why not just drop a shot of your favorite spirits in your beer? I think a high quality imperial stout is much more complex and nuanced than that.
If you have the time and freedom, I'd recommend going down the street to the Bywater Brew Pub instead. The atmosphere is also very welcoming, the furniture is more comfortable, and the brews are just better. I'd take their 'birthday sex' stout over the imperial from this brewery every day. It's far more complex, rich, and balanced - and reasonably priced. The folks running that brew pub are also very welcoming and accommodating, so all things considered, Bywater Brew Pub is the clear winner...

There is plenty of indoor seating available, but this venue's outside seating is where it really stands out. There is ample space and seating in their backyard area to sit, stand, and play since this is a pet and child friendly establishment.
There is a projector screen located inside which is usually showing sports, or in some cases, a movie of some kind. Peak into their cooler for unique to-go options including bomber bottles and cans. They also offer a unique collection of merchandise ranging from stickers, shirts, crowlers, growlers, and glasses if you are interested in further representing the brewery while you are out and about.
When available, there are soft baked pretzels from Bratz Y'all at the counter in addition to rotating food pop-ups located outside. Be sure to check their website and Instagram page to keep up with their ongoing events and new beer releases.
Like with most places in the Bywater, all parking is located off street. Enjoy the opportunity to explore and look at all the other cool and interesting things the neighborhood has to offer.
