By far one of the best BBQ places we tried on our trip to the south of the US. We arrived almost at closing time (2pm) but they were very friendly and accommodating with our order, even though it was last min. The Cochin de lait (pork) poboy was excellent and the brisket burnt ends was probably the best we had in a long time! All was served promptly and there was some outdoor sitting to enjoy the food. Read more2025 French Quarter Fest- My husband and I were very disappointed due to our 4- Cochon De Lait Po-Boys had only a slither of the cabbage & wertie sauce underneath, 4-6 strings of the cabbage when normally it’s a pile of it???? The cabbage sauce is what makes this sandwich UNIQUE. Now to lessen that ingredient, ruins the sandwich entirely. This company has always been an outstanding!! The BEST pulled pork in town!!! The pork was moist, tender & tasty the slaw was a great balance with being a little sweet & definitely get it on the French roll. The peach cobbler was sweet & had plenty of flakey crust. Boy we lucked out they are only open until 3 pm or till they run out on Thursdays and Fridays & today is Thursday. We got there around 1:40 pm & they closed at 2:10 pm. So get there early.
