Busted Knuckle BBQ @ Lift Bridge New Richmond taproom — Restaurant in New Richmond

If you haven't made it out to Busted Knuckles BBQ in Lift Bridge, get there ASAP!!! Absolutely the best BBQ in the area. Just opened on Wednesday and my boys have found there favorites are still available from the truck. My oldest loves the Pulled pork sandwich with either sauces, Competition or the Root Beer BBQ and when I say he is picky I mean won't eat noodles or eggs or about 70% of the food most would eat. And my youngest begs for the Mac and cheese. Yep he had an accident with a duck decoy yesterday and split his head a little and when asked by the doctor what could help make it better it was Busted Knuckles Mac and cheese 😂. I mean how could you not get it when it was going to make it all better. I got a Tri tip sandwich and made it a cheese steak with the beer cheese, and omg mouth watering, perfectly done meat and the cheese sauce was spot on, oh and the au jus sauce🤤. And some pretzels with the beer cheese. Absolutely delicious. We got it to go and brought it home. Where the wounded child proclaimed he was all better after the Busted Knuckles Mac and Cheese. The food was great! Not huge meat portions, but plenty. 2 of us had the Piggy Mac, they really enjoyed it. The people behind the counter were awesome. Friendly, cheerful. The only thing I wasn't comfortable with the blasting music. It was so loud we were literally shouting at each other. And once we placed our order, and the food was dropped off rather quickly, like within a few minutes. No interaction with a waitress afterwards, no "need anything else", "can I get you something?" What's the tip for? I left well over a $25 tip for a friendly order taker, and the food dropped off. The things I'm complaining about are minor, and we'll return. I’m is sales and travel and take customers out to eat all over and the meal my wife and I shared was so incredibly good/great/awesome!!! The turkey was so moist, the chicken had so much flavor, and the brisket was soooo good!! The candied jalapeños were so uniquely incredible - sweet and nice heat :). We met the owner Corey - great guy and obviously takes great pride in his work and modestly proud of it. What a great date night.
