Best Western Plus New Richmond Inn & Suites — Hotel in New Richmond

Now there's reasons why I went to this Best Western in my hometown. One I wanted to find out if a person left something behind if they did end up calling them. 2 I wanted to give them a report of some kind 2 family or friends that are coming into town of which hotel would be the best. Well let's say it's not a good start for this Best Western. Now I left something simple but not expensive by no means but it was something that I have to have. Well they never called me and they actually charge you even if you don't stay. Oh when I was trying to reserve a room the lady said that she was new and the one manager was coming in and she said she would have the manager call me in about 20 minutes well 20 minutes ended up in 40 minutes still no call 40 minutes ended up in 2 80 minutes 80 minutes ended up into 160 minutes. By then I didn't think they were going to call me well my notion was correct. And I still got charged for the room. Boy I got screwed over on that deal even in my own hometown. Nevertheless they will never get my business nor a good word of mine. And the only thing I left behind was my dog's leash. Thinking that seeing that I have a service animal that they would have ended up calling me and I even told them that I was born and raised in New Richmond I lived here 52 years. So I highly recommend you not to stay at the Best Western in New Richmond Wisconsin well maybe not at this time but maybe in the future until they get their act together and they get the right people in there but right now I wouldn't and if you decide stay there and then don't you gave them there your credit card well you can say that they probably will charge you. Ok I just thought maybe it was a flu so I thought I'd give him another chance and I stayed four nights at the rate of $79.04 per night well that wasn't right I'm getting sick and tired of getting screwed over they tell me one thing but yet they charge me another. 3 Nights at $79.04 the fourth night was $124.09. Now if they just told me they were going to charge me $124.09 on my last night I would have only stayed the three nights. Nevertheless I'll be saying something soon the thing is is I'll go over and above the managers that work here. I started to reserve rooms for my wedding block back in June. I have gone through numerous phone calls, because it has been nearly impossible to contact anyone. You are given multiple names of people to contact and everyone is extremely hard to reach. Once I finally reached the person who I needed to contact, I was given pricing for the wedding block and told that I would be receiving a contract to sign by email. I never received a contract, so I went back to calling and leaving voicemails with no phone calls in return. Today, two months later, I contacted the Best Western Plus and received news stating that the room block rate that I was quoted was never valid. I was repeatedly told there were no notes on file of any conversations I had previously had with management. On top of this, I was told a block rate price that was over $20 more the original price I was given, they were no longer making all rooms (Kings and Queens) the same block rate, and the queen suite I was reserving for the bridesmaids to spend the night before the wedding increased in price over $50. I asked to speak to the manager of the Best Western Plus. I was told that I would receive a phone call from the manager shortly, because she was on another call. I still have not heard from the manager, and I don't believe I will ever hear from her given my experience since day one. I highly suggest you are very hesitant when thinking about booking with Best Western Plus. The management does not hold customer service to a very high standard and are not willing to take any ownership for their mistakes. Their only solution was to give me a higher group block rate. We had a family get together and I rented 10 rooms from best western plus in new richmond wi and everyone that stayed there had nothing but good things to say about the hotel. From the first call to reserving the rooms to the end they were so accommodating. The next morning when we all got together for their breakfast it was fantastic no complaints there. I think it means alot to have 10 rooms and not one person had any complaints,all I heard was good things from how clean the rooms were to how comfortable the beds are. Most importantly the staff truly make you feel appreciated they all were so approachable and enthusiastic.
