Southeast Light Delights — Restaurant in New Shoreham

Block Island is like entering into a time machine. After taking the ferry across, first look, same view as thirty to forty years back. A quaint Island full of activities, biking, walking, hiking, touring the famous Southeast Lighthouse. It was the first lighthouse ever attempted to be moved! The nearly year long project was a National newsreel. People wanted to know how it was even possible. Others curious to see if it would be rescued in time or meet it's doom, being claimed by eroding coast or crashing down from the move. It has been 25years and the project still raises curiosity. I didn't get anything here myself, aside a water, but my sister and her fiancee enjoyed the food thoroughly. The lobster roll has a generous amount of lobster and the bratwurst was large. The Italian ice was apparently very creamy and delicious as well. The two flavors that day were strawberry and peach. However, it was really a dole whip and not an Italian ice.
