Belisimo's — Restaurant in New Windsor

This restaraunt has so much potential to be the absolute go to place for classic italian and americana food. However ,Lately , with the high demand of delivery due to the current pandemic, the care of food and preperation is degrading very quickly. While i know the food tastes great, the only portions that remain consistent for me are the subs and pizza. The size of breadsticks with cheese on my last order was an insult of my intelligence and was half the size of the box it was delivered in. It used to fill the small pizza box they deliver it in. Now i get a ridiculous amount of marinara that could service 4 orders of the current size of the breadsticks i have been recieving. I seriously feel like at this point i have been jipped out of my money. When i said something to them on a previous order it was met with a really poor excuse. Well i have a problem. I pay for consistency. And this really hurt my veiw of what i thought was a great place to order. Especially when im paying 7 dollars for a 2 dollar portion size. Please Belisimo's....straighten this up or your gonna lose a customer that has been loyal since he has moved to this area.A little better attitude would go a long way. And this really has ticked me off especially since last night. I know that times are difficult but with the lack of sit in business , you should be able to still provide consistency rather than shortcutting on portions because your in to big a hurry to do it right. I recently left a good review, but I’ve changed it after my horrible delivery experience, I called at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, I called an hour later to check on my order and was told the driver was just leaving with my delivery, 45 minutes later he finally showed up and my food was ice cold with onion rings scattered in the bag. I called to complain and was met with a sarcastic attitude. When I confronted the guy about his sarcastic attitude he literally started yelling at me and cussed me out on the phone telling me how they were busy. An hour and 45 minutes wait for a cold delivery, then being yelled at and cussed out by an employee is out of line and completely uncalled for, never again will I use this business. Update: after speaking with an employee a few days later and finding out it was the owner who I dealt with its really disappointing to know he treats his customers this was, no respect for the people who support his livelihood. Ordered a steak and cheese sub, upon delivery, I gave the driver cash and he quickly left without giving change. So he pocketed over a 50% tip. Strike 1. Then, as I started to eat, I noticed it tasted funny and opened the sub to find the lettuce was all brown and rotten. Strike 2. Lastly, the tomatoes were so soggy and old that I almost had to spoon them off. Strike 3. Now I hate leaving bad reviews, but come on now.
