Aphrodite's Sweets — Restaurant in New York

What a cute bakery with delicious sweets! Craving some apple pie, I searched up some places nearby. We found Aphrodite's sweets and what a gem it is.

Once I got there, I forgot all about the apple pie I was craving. Instead, I ordered their carrot cake, tiramisu cake along with their famous cheese empanadas. My sister ordered their tiramisu and rainbow cookies and I got my husband a caramel cake.

The carrot cake was delicious. Possibly the best carrot cake I've had. It was moist with a lot of walnuts and raisins in each bite with the tangy cream cheese frosting. My dad tried their tiramisu and said it was delicious. The cake was soft and fluffy and he enjoyed every bite.

I can't believe I've never been here before! But I'm glad I finally tried this bakery. It'll be my go to for their carrot cake and tiramisu! I have yet to try their cheese empanadas, but from what my sister, dad AND my husband said, they said it was...

If you needed a cake box ( just a regular cardboard one, nothing special) don't you think a bakery would be the place to PURCHASE one? I went in to ask the lady behind the counter if it was possible and I would pay for an empty cake box, out of nowhere some bummy looking guy in the seating area (who I'm guessing is the owner) practically screams, "we don't sell boxes, BRO". Why would you not want money for something that costs them afew cents and upcharge me, probably make like 4 or 5 times the amount that they paid for, and be helping someone out at the same time? But this guy's stank attitude is deserving of never giving them business again, and letting people know of their horrible customer service. Would give 0 stars if possible. Also if you're the owner reading this, you're a dirty used douche, and should go in the trash where...

The Cheesecake here is magical! It was absolutely amazing and affordable. A slice here is only around 3-4 dollars whereas you go to a place somewhere else and you’re spending 7-8 dollars a slice. The cheesecake here is very good quality, very creamy, not too sweet, leaves you craving for more each bite and a soft luscious texture on the inside & a very nice layer to bite into on the outside. I bought the chocolate glazed, mixed vanilla and chocolate cheesecake, I was dying to have more and I’m so sad that I only bought one slic. My first time trying this place, and I will be returning soon to try more sweets here! Next time I come I’m buying an entire cheesecake for myself, I highly recommend 1st timers to try the chocolate cheesecake

Just FYI, 10 times way better than...
