If you are not from the middle east, europe or basically if you are not white just save your time and money and don’t come here. They just don’t look like they want to serve a broader community.
Paying for a bad time and being treated bad for something you are paying for doesn’t make sense.
Food is good. But Service here is really bad. They only act nice when they bring the bill. First, not greeted when entering the restaurant. They pretend you don’t exist (thought they were busy so didn’t care too much). The two blonde waitresses who are at senior age were rude and had an attitude. Had a question on the menu and literally get yelled at for asking. It’s very normal for someone who is not familiar with dishes from a certain region to ask a question to understand, get informed, and be able to order something you’ll like. But no she was more busy disrespecting the customer than trying to help explaining what they offer. Image going to an Asian restaurant and asking what is xiao long bao and their answers is: “what do you mean? It’s just xiao long bao”. Tried asking the question differently but then you realized they just want to insult you. There were other things I can write about but it’s not worth my energy on negative things.
Ended up ordering based on my best judgement. Didn’t left (which we should have, as service wasn’t getting any better) as we already made the effort to get there and were hungry. Will never...
Read moreI have been loyally dining at this restaurant since it opened in 2019… the owner and I became friends and treated each other like family. BUTTTT I will never step my foot at this place again. On a special night for me and my group of 10 people the owner completely disrespected us. We were rushed from the moment we sat down, and our drinks and food were still delayed. The owner, Laki, asked us to leave within an hour of us sitting down because 1) we had kids that should be going home soon to sleep and 2) had double booked and thought the other group of four had come from far and had the right to sit instead of us. Yet he did not ask anyone else to get up from their unfinished meals to get up and leave. Then the manager came over and asked if we can move a sleeping infant, in a compact car seat, to a corner somewhere else so he can make room for members at the table next to us. Not to mention members of our party were violently sick the next day. Horrible service, lack of communication, lack of respect and a horrible businessman for people that paid a hefty price for a horrible evening. Do not recommend it if your goal is to have a relaxed, good time with friends or family on...
Read moreWow.. Really taken aback by my experience yesterday evening which resulted in me and my boyfriend getting up from our table and having to go elsewhere for dinner. The second we walked in we were treated like second class citizens. When I walked inside, we did not feel welcomed at all, they wanted us to sit practically in the walkway right next to the door on a cold evening. When we asked for another table, the blond waitress had dragged a small table in the middle of the floor like a child being corralled into a corner for timeout. Kinda in a passive aggressive way. On top of that, we were only given one menu for 2 people, how embarrassing of you! You mean to tell me that a restaurant not at full capacity can't give a table of 2 comfortable seating but its an exception for the 2 families and single guy eating dinner by himself with 4 seats to himself... dont blame covid rules either because you weren't intending on distancing our table away from the man that you were planning to place right next to us.... Didnt like the vibe at all, thats very sad to treat customers...
