Had dinner tonight at LaBottiglia’s Port Richmond Avenue. What a beautiful experience! Food was delicious, staff was excellent and couldn’t do enough! The owner, Nino, introduced himself and was so welcoming! We started the dinner off with fried calamari & zucchini appetizer that was more than the two of us could finish. My husband ordered chicken rollatini which he absolutely loved! I ordered seafood risotto. Was so delicious. Both generous portions, and well presented. Dessert was amazing! Castelli: a sweet calzone looking pastry filled with warm ricotta and chocolate morsels. O. M. G.!! Espresso was excellent as well. A HIDDEN GEM. Went there with my three brothers. Between the appetizers and dinners we ordered enough food to feed a small army. There was not one appetizer or entrée that was not fantastic. You can tell they care about the food quality because everything was incredibly fresh and the tastes were amazing. For dessert, we tried their cassata, which is a deep fried pastry with a type of cannoli cream inside. We normally don’t have dessert but very happy we tried it because it was amazing.. My family booked a party for may Dad's 87th birthday. Wow the place is absolutely amazing the food was cooked to perfection and the service was spot on. Our waitress had a amazing personality and went over and above. They brought out my dad's desert with candles on it and the whole place sang happy birthday.
