My Mother's Place 2 — Restaurant in New York

Super patient and friendly staff. Very clean store (including the bathroom space.) Overall 10/10 place.

Took the 2 kids in and they had a perfect selection for both of them (and myself!) and the guy behind the counter was so patient with them pretending to pick every single flavor then changing their minds (kids 🙂). The side of the store has arcade games that kept them busy for a while too which was an unexpected bonus. They love racing games and those coin drop ones and this place had them both!! It’s become our new go-to reward spot when either one of them do something worth rewarding or just because the weather is too hot to handle without that little summer pick-me-up. I don’t think we’ve even gone to another ice cream/ices shop since finding My Mothers.

Found this gem on the way back from Rockaway Beach and had the most delicious ice cream ever: coconut-raspberry! Their variety of flavors are fantastic.
