Today was our first time visiting City Island for a family event. We decided to get to the island early and were in desperate need of a snack. We stumbled across The Snug and were super satisfied. The Snug is so adorable with nice quick items on the food menu, and serving one of the best Mimosa I've ever had. The bartender was so awesome! She made us feel like we're were at home and gave us some great insight about City island and what is going on. I definitely recommend this awesome local stop when exploring...

Shepherd’s pie without a crust, $20 for mashed potatoes over a layer of hamburger meat w/ pea and carrots. (charged me $2 for asking for bread) Atmosphere : the Beer maid is dating a 55 yo, father has Cancer and mother is vague but seems to be contentious….
