HAD THE BEST TIME EVER HERE... I never hang out in the Bronx, but my brother Mario decided to have our mom's memorial get-together here in City Island after she passed away. I have to say that from the owner Michael to the bar-maid to all the regular people that filtered into the bar after our private get-together merged into a regular Sunday night at the bar, that I had the best time ever. The food was so tasty, the drinks were great and the energy was really friendly. I started wondering if I was in Utah or Iowa. This didn't seem like New York. The people were so kind, open and engaging. Man Overboard bar/restaurant is on top of my list of places to visit when I go to City Island again. Thank you Michael (owner). You are a gracious, kind and generous host.

Genuinely the best bar on earth that I have been to. I take my reviews very seriously and I promise you won't be disappointed here. The vibe, decor, selection, staff and owner are the best you will ever find in this industry. I look forward to each and every visit here.

My family and I recently visited Man Overboard Bar in City Island, New York, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The owner, Mike, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail made a lasting impression.

Our bartender, Maritza, was an absolute gem. Not only is she a master at crafting drinks, but her warmth and friendliness made the evening even more enjoyable. Every cocktail she prepared was flawless, and her vibrant personality added to the overall atmosphere.

Finally a place, I can call a local neighborhood bar worth my time and money. Mike (the owner) and Nelly the bartender are super cozy and welcoming people. They have a juke box which is a huge plus for me. The drinks are very good and affordable. No food yet, but I know it's coming. Pool table another ➕️ plus. I liked the decor, outside seating. What more can you ask for?.. I will be going back and enjoy a cold beer and a game on their tvs 📺 and shoot some pool while I'm at it. Can't wait to see what else is in the sea when I go over board...
