Coney Island Restaurant — Restaurant in Newark

I was unaware of this store but had been enjoying their food for at least a week or so. My brother was bringing me breakfast when I was under the weather, and I never knew from where but I was thoroughly enjoying it. I myself am not much of a Turkey Bacon lover, but this bacon was extremely good. They have a large menu of things I most definitely will be trying. I did go there myself and was surprised at the many items available, and they have seating if you would like to eat in which may be good if you have issues with patience. They stay packed and most orders are takeout but I noticed that the orders prepared for the done in customers were given to them sooner than the take outs, and the proportions were very substantial. Really love the food but last time I went in there… I saw an ant on the lil sandwich station while they preparing. I ain’t trip trip because ants are harmless. Not like it was a roach. I just figured they’d clean it and take care of it. It’s not the most clean looking place but you never wanna judge hood staples. When I got home I found said ant, alive and well on my burger. I threw it out. Didn’t say anything because it’s my fault, I saw that ant and tried to front. The prices are high like everywhere else. The taste is delicious. I got the food delivered. It was a large order and they got the order wrong. The delivery guy came back to redeliver 2 bean pies but two items were still missing. They were closed when I called. We paid for everything and still had not received two items.

Now to the food....it was luke warm. The chicken sandwich was sloppy and falling apart with wilted greenish brown lettuce. The steak sandwich had more bread than steak. Very dissatisfied and will not be ordering from this...
