Nick & Joe's Pizza — Restaurant in Newark

We've been getting the best pizza from Nick & Joes since the first one opened about 40 years ago in the old Castle Mall in Newark. Their pizza is the BEST. Recently, we decided to try something else on their menu. MISTAKE. We got nachos supreme, an order of boneless chicken wings and broccoli bites. It was the worst food experience ever. The nachos was just hamburger, no taco seasoning, crumbled over mostly really soggy nacho chips, tomatoes, cheese sauce, not even real shredded cheese, a few jalapeno's, and sour cream. That's it. A 3 year old could make better nachos. Before I ordered the broccoli bites, I ask if they used real broccoli, she said yes. They were some kind of green mush. The boneless chicken wings were NOT and they came with a horrid , I guess it was bar-b-que sauce. Just don't get anything BUT pizza. Delaware must have a hard time with buffalo wings. I have been to three different places for wings and none have yet to be anywhere near anything that resembles what buffalo wings should look or taste like but Nicks wings are a special kind of bad. You may say that it is subjective but if you had had them I am sure you could agree that they are objectively bad. They were basically rubber and the consistency of the sauce if more that of water than it is actually sauce. The cheese on the pizza is weirdly grainy ? First time I have experienced that. I am ashamed to admit that I ate the whole pizza to myself though.I guess it couldn't have been that bad but, then again, hunger is the best spice. I have been a loyal customer since I was like 5 years old when they were in the castle mall in Newark Delaware I know a lot of the original owners and tonight I had the worst service I've ever had in my life to the point where I'm actually speaking out about it The woman that waited on me and called on the phone when I called my order in is horrible has no customer serviceability and definitely should not be in her position So I felt like I was an inmate and a criminal when I was ordering and to be honest I'm tired of the atmosphere when she's there worst experience ever and I've been a customer over 50 years that...
