Nico's Halal Pizzeria & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Newark

very very RUDE!! there is no such a friendly compassion people there.. i myself is deaf and i called across the country ( west of usa ) to hopefully talk to someone who might know about this place bec i used to grew up there and there was jewelry store where i lived above long before nico pizza came along... i called sat afternoon and someone lied to me and said mgr will come in at 830pm which its actually closed at 8 pm .. i left few messages and explaining who i am and still hung up on me numerous of times.. if there is not a friendly people there why go there and support this place... all i wanted is some update info about this place as i have so many memories in that house... it used to be bank on the right side and there a drug store on the corner across street and there was ice cream down the way after nicos pizza and there used to be furniture store across from my home ( ack- nico pizza) also there was funeral home behind that house as well... ( from the back yard view) i am not happy about the outcome im hoping someone will be kind enough and tell me about whats happening with this home i grew...

There food Italian cheeseburger has really fell off. I have been coming here well over 16 years and I have basically been getting the same thing over the years that's an Italian cheeseburger with everything except peppers and i must say that there burger has really fell off. I understand due to corona a lot of restaurants have been trying to cut cost to survive. Maybe i will go back after all the corona bull is over maybe then i could get the best Italian cheeseburger in the city back again. Nicos has always been known gor good food for so many years. The nico brothers has always dine such a great job delivering great food for so many years I understand corona has everything all messed up with a lot of restaurants please continue to give the best food as you have always done for so many years. Update 8-8-2024 OMG They sold this place to a bunch of Arabs and the flavor and taste is not the same. I do not recommend this place anymore ever since the twins sold this establishment I don't know why they would do that, but I would never go there again or the same thing that I ordering for the past 9+ years and it tasted horrible. The flavor is gone. The people is gone. That establishment is over. Everything is over , my heart so much this place but like what time everything changes

This Italian cheesesteak is so delicious. I am so happy with my food today and every time I visit this place this is Gem.. It always pleases my little tummy every time I go to this place love love...
