We had a party of 23 come in at 6:30. We where sat rather quickly and had lots of sangria and calamari. All was going well! Then they took our food order and this is when service started to slip.
Our party came out to celebrate my grandfather's 80th birthday and he has great memories of this restaurant. Well today that changed. My family came in from all over the country and between the great conversations and catching up about 2 1/2 hours slipped by and still no food. To get beer was no easy feat either. No attention to detail was had by the staff.
We asked where our food was and was told it will be out in 5 minutes. Well 30 minutes ticked by and yet still no food! Now the level of anger was starting to rise. When the food did start to trickle out not everyone got their food. You could tell they definitely miscounted entrees and what not but they rushed the food they missed. Basically a t-bone steak came out to the table super raw to the point it couldn't be eaten and had to be sent back!
We also brought with us a cake and asked for it to be placed in the refrigerator. The cake was not! It came out all droopy and sad looking! Was not what my grandfather wanted to experience on his birthday!
Now it was time to pay! The bill came and the manager said he was going to take things off due to the horrible service. That didn't happen at all! And when questioned about it the manager said well the computer wont let me take anything off I'm sorry. That's just simply unacceptable!
When leaving the owner said thanks so much for coming see you again next time! We all simply replied yeah that's not going to happen! It's so sad to see a once awesome restaurant hit rock bottom like this! I am thankful that the food was delicious when it did finally arrive correctly! The only saving Grace for this place so I didn't get it a 1 star! Come on guys you...

It has been many years since I last worked in a restaurant but then it clicked. it was a Saturday night and the place barely had ANY costumers. I am sure the place was empty because of the POOR costumer service. The waitress in glasses all she cared about was to entertain the two guys at the bar. I understand get your green card by any means necessary. It was as if having us there was a bother she didn’t care to check if I needed another drink when we arrived I was trying to figure out what I wanted to drink and she didn’t suggest anything she told her colleague an older Portuguese gentleman that “I forgot” to order my drink and sent him to chem up on me. They weren't welcoming they just stared at us no smiles no costumer service I understand to see another person like yourself living a life you wish you were living so now all you do is judge because I’m one of you . I honestly think my waitress was under the influence. My wife saw her vaping in the back. Overall it’s a damn shame. A nice looking restaurant with such poor employee behavior. Read moreI had to update this. This place is now owned by new owners. I been a faithful customer for 20+ years. It’s sad to say that even though they have done a wonderful job renovating the place . The food quality has gone out the window with cheap quality food grade, from the prepackaged refrigerator grade calamari to skipping out on the traditional soup or salad before you appetizers. This is now a mix blend restaurant of Brazilian and Portuguese cuisine . Which is a non traditional and a modern mix . That lacks the real authentic Portuguese cuisine experience. The desert menu is completely prepackaged stuff from Nastos ice cream shop . They’re not even trying to prepare something fresh & authentic. To top it off they raised the prices on everything while lacking the quality of the original owners. I went on a Sunday and the parking attendant decided that it was a good idea to leave home without finishing his shift.He left my car unlocked and took my car keys with him. After waiting for 20 minutes he shows up apologizing for his stupidity. I said no problem I will never come back and I will definitely update my 5 star review to its proper review.
