7 Tattoo Gallery — Attraction in Newark

First time getting my tattoo done at this place and I will most definitely be back. My tattoo artist was Monica and she might be the best one I’ve ever had. She was super nice, attentive to my needs, not overpriced, responded promptly and overall did an amazing job with my tattoo.

I like fine line, small intricate tattoos and I am fully aware of the risks of it fading over time and this and that. Monica explained the risks to me once and was very supportive of my decision. I’ve met many tattoo artists who have discouraged me so much when wanting to get small/fine line tatts where they would constantly repeat themselves, persuade me to go a different direction, tell me the ones I wanted were not realistic, to go bigger or thicker, etc. and Monica was probably the first one who simply explained the risks and told me that she was more than happy to do it for me if that’s what I want.

More than that, she did my tattoos perfectly. No weird or uneven lines. She took her time and made sure I was feeling okay and happy with my tattoo and placement.

I used to live in the area and moved to VA a couple years ago. Saying this because I will literally travel to get my tattoos done with her. Thank you Monica!! ♡︎

Got my first tattoo today. At first I went to Tattoo tribe and they wanted to charge me close to 300$ for a phrase I came up; just words. They were also very impersonal. I left went on goolge and found 7 Tattoo Gallery down the street.

Sid was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He took the time out to make sure I got what I wanted where I wanted. He made sure it was straight and just right before he even began the needle work.

He did a test with the needle on my arm so that I could get a feel for the needle. He eased me into it. He constantly ask me how I was doing during the tattooing. The price was feasible and the place is very clean. He made sure I saw him open the needle packaging. Sid is very profession and I recommend this place to anyone. Plus I love my tat. Sid has 20 years experience under his belt....

This place was clean, friendly and professional. I recently did my tattoo with Lola who is very talented and the work she does is amazing. The tattoo was just what I wanted and she went above and beyond. She is easy to talk to and guided me through the tattoo. She constantly made sure I was okay and made conversation with me. Her energy was good. I felt very comfortable with her. I will definitely be getting another one by her soon. We had a good time during the 6 hour piece she worked on for me. It was a pleasure to work with her. I couldn't be anymore happy with my piece. I love it! She is super nice and very intriguing. Her work is different from others I've seen and i love it!
