Went for the first time and was looking forward to the all you can eat fish fry I saw posted all over social media. Sat down at 515 and was greeted by a server right away. Told her it was our first time at the restaurant and she told us about the specials and said she’d be right back. 15 minutes later she returned to take our order. 15 minutes later she returns to say no clam chowder which was one of the soups ordered. We switched to another French onion. One soup arrived and was looking good until my wife realized there were no onions just bread and broth and cheese. Second soup comes the same way 10 minutes later. Mind you the place isn’t very busy. 15 minutes later the food comes and she says you can only order more fish one at a time and I say go ahead and order me more right away. Food was warm at best. Most condiments were missing(tater,cocktail sauce etc) and food was bland and burger was way overcooked. Waited and waited for the fish and was told twice it was on the way. Finally said forget the fish just adjust the bill. That happened and we left. Needless to say the fish wasn’t all that good, the burger was overcooked and we sat for what felt like an eternity. I am obsessed with this recent find! The town of Newburg has several little bar & grills on their main drag so I thought I'd walk the dog while trying a few spots for drinks. They have a large back patio that is thankfully dog friendly. The first time I stopped in was a Tuesday during their taco special. This was such an incredible deal! The tacos are absolutely huge. My husband got the prime rib sandwich which has the best au jus I've ever tasted. Of course I had to get one of their creative homemade cheesecakes. That night they had a blueberry cobbler cheesecake that was phenomenal. They've also had flavors like bourbon peach, coconut rum, white chocolate blueberry, and even a brandy old fashion cheesecake! I've started stopping in just for the cheesecakes. In addition to great food and atmosphere, they also host entertainment like bands and even a magician on certain nights. Service was fine. First time visiting this bar in 30 plus years. Ordered their all you can eat fish special and a coke. I had lake perch, with their chips with cheese, coleslaw and a slice of marbled rye.

Good flavor on the perch - so much so I reordered more pieces of perch twice. Their coleslaw was among the best I have ever tasted. The chips & cheese were a nice change of pace. I ate at the bar and had great service from the bartenders - very friendly staff!

I got there after 8 pm, so I was not surprised that the perch had some black seasoning dots on the outside. Pretty typical of many bars & restaurants in Wisconsin on fish fry Fridays. The dots did not affect the flavor for me.

I found out they serve $1 old fashions (whiskey or brandy) (sweet or sour) on Fridays. Sampled 2 of the whiskey old fashions sweet. They were excellent! Good flavor mix!
