Newbury Palace Pizza — Restaurant in Newbury

So I'm on vacation from Florida. I used to live here in New Hampshire. I'm visiting my sister here. I've been going to this pizza place many years. I went here at 7:00 on a Wednesday night and I was the only customer. I parked as I normally would straight up to the front. I wasn't seeing any handicap parking spot. I walked inside and a gentleman was there, and he asked me what I would like to order. I said to him I wasn't sure if need a minute to decide. So waiting to take my order he said to me could you move your car you're blocking three of our parking spaces. Well I thought to myself no one is even here it doesn't look like they're lining up to eat here. Anyway I felt he was rude. Being that I'm handicapped I walked out to move my car and just kept going. I'll never go here ever again. It's no wonder they have no business with whoever that rude guy behind the counter was. I'd drive twenty miles out of my way to avoid that uncomfortable moment. Good luck in the future I'll take my money elsewhere...

My only complaint is that I don't live a little bit closer. I wish I was only a mile or so away, then I could probably frequent their cute little bar. To me, a local person who has seen so many establishments go out of business in the local area, particularly around Mount sunapee, this place is worth rooting for & patronizing! Of the several Pizza and Sub shops we have in the local area, this one is by far my favorite. I have enjoyed a number of different menu items and I find their menu to be the most extensive, and the cheapest. We are a household of for adults, and for the four of us to be able to eat or under $50 is pretty remarkable. 3.5% CHARGE TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD! BE CAREFUL! Just visited today after I received their new menu. There's no mention of a 3.5% charge to use your credit card here. This is a scary trend at local businesses. Most people ignore this charge or don't even see it, but you shouldn't ever agree to pay this fee. Keep in mind, business owners like to say that they charge this fee because of rising costs/credit processing, but rest assured they price these things into the cost of your food.
