I just had lunch at Andrea at Pelican Hill with my wife on Saturday. We normally would not have gone here because we thought it would be super expensive and it is also further away from the beach than we normally do for a special occasion (my wife’s Birthday). But we found a coupon online for lunch at a good price. We were very pleasantly surprised in many ways. First, the prices are not as high as we thought it would be. The appetizers are a bit higher than normal, but the main courses are about what you would spend at a midrange/high-end restaurant. Their freshly made pasta dishes were under $20 and the filet mignon was around $39 for a big cut. Soup and salads were in the mid-teens, and alcohol drinks are expensive ($15 for a Kettle One Martini with blue chees olives). The blue cheese olives were stuffed these and some of the best I have had. My wife has a long list of allergies, so long we hand the waiter a card listing them. This makes it hard to go out to eat sometimes, but Chef Chris eliminated this issue. Chef came out to our table to go over the list personally and made recommendations and even offered to change the recipe on other dishes so she would not have any issues. One of the dishes I wanted to try was a Hamachi salad appetizer, but of course this had Soy, one of the items my wife could not have. Chef Chris split the order into two separate dishes and from scratch came up with the most amazing Sashimi platter for my wife using blood oranges, which he had bought that day, and other ingredients that I do not remember. On top of some of the best food I have had, the view and service are also awesome. When it comes to this level of restaurant, I am very picky and almost never give all 5-stars, but I would rate this with 6-stars if it was an option. This is a must try place in my book.

Wonderful dining experience, from beginning to end. The dining staff had impeccable attention to detail. Food preparation and plating we're to expectations of restaurants of comparable ratings. My fillet mignon was seared and seasoned to perfection. The chocolate mousse dissert was outstanding. Highly recommended!!!

ANDREA RISTORANTE Joeh Dang manager (love him) Paige Gustavo Todd

This food was outrages and the presentation was 8 star. It’s been along time since I have had such an amazing experience. The weather was a bit disappointing otherwise we would’ve been able to have an even more perfect view.

The restaurant is located on the second floor, the views were of there golf course, impeccable. I’ve never seen California so green!

We started with Burrata, Smoked Grilled Octopus, Prosciutto salad, on to Chicken, Steak, Risotto and a great dish of homemade Gnocchi.

Although I usually don’t eat desserts but the temptation got me. We followed up with the Tiramisu and some of the best Panna Cotta I have ever eaten!

I wish I just had a ton of complaints so they would invite me back just to take care of me another day.

Paige(I LOVE HER)and her crew took great care of our table and I WOULD highly recommend giving this place a try.

When I am ever out there again I will definitely be going back because I will have to try inventions of this amazing chef!

A special shout out to these people that made our visit there a memorable experience.

Joeh Dang manager Paige our amazing waitress. Gustavo her assistant. Todd, It was great to see him, it was great to see that he was still there from our last visit. He was our waiter last time, he is incredible.

SO ..... let me start this review out by saying "HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE". Talk about a fabulous experience THIS IS WHAT I EXACTLY ENVISIONED for this year. I did not want to cook and my dad wanted to be at the beach so on Open Table I found Andrea at Pelican Hill. I cannot express enough about the gratitude I have for all these wonderful staff members that decided to work on this holiday.

So, let's talk about the ambiance....... try to find a prettier place with positive vibes and perpetual views. Breathtaking is just not the correct description word (so Breathtaking x 100).

Now let's talk about the staff..... Smiles, appreciation, and I hear Happy Thanksgiving....these people make you feel like a family. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO WORKED TODAY!

NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT THE FOOD...... I DID NOT EAT 1 THING I DID NOT LIKE. THERE IS A HUGE VARIETY TO TRY FROM.

A sample of the list: BREADS & BUTTER CARVING STATION OMELET STATION GELATO STATION (1ST ONE FOR ME THAT ACTUALLY HAS GELATO) KIDS BUFFET (YES PEOPLE THEY THOUGHT ABOUT OUR KIDDOS)

AGAIN.... I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT AND GRADULOUS THINGS ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT AND STAFF..... for myself and family this is exactly what we needed and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE COME HERE AND HAVE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE.

MY TABLE STAFF ELVIA AND ENRIQUE---- THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONVERSATIONS AND...
