I usually shop at the redlands location but yesterday while I was in town and shopping at this location I had to use the restroom realizing it was closed off I asked an employee if I could use the men’s restroom, she denied me and suggested with a not very kind tone that I use the bathroom at the beach. Who directs a customer to use the restroom at the beach? When my husband and I left I was taken back and so frustrated that I called the manager of the store. She proceeded to tell me that people get directed to their store and they’ve had a lot of issues with the bathroom and with the non customers using their bathrooms. She said their bathrooms were closed because of that and on top of it their restroom was not working. I said “really? I continued shopping and saw that the bathroom was opened up again and freshly cleaned and was able to use the restroom..” Obviously the restroom was working. The manager disregarded my concerns and continued to make excuses for the mistreatment of her employee. I’m beyond disappointed and will not be back to this store. Customer or not they don’t want you using their restroom apparently. Thank Goodness for the Redlands Trader Joe’s they actually appreciate their customers and treat them with dignity....
Read moreYvette and Rachel are the sweetest, most thoughtful, and caring ladies ever! We live no where near this Trader's Joe's location, but are highly considering making a trip to shop here just to immersed in this atmosphere of genuineness and lovingkindness. Trader's Joe's headquarters should definitely send out representatives to study this store and model other stores after this one. How blessed are you to have a one-of-a-kind servant leader advancing your company reputation and upholding your values!
This experience was so unexpected and beyond anything we could've ever hoped for. Our single mom family is currently grieving the loss of my dad and my daughter's grand father (who left us to be with God on 11/3). We were given a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Rachel. Our Puma (pictured) was warmly embraced and showered with gifts from Yvette as she fiercely fights cancer and kidney disease. We are so touched by the generosity and care of these ladies. 🥰🥰🥰
Aside from loving staff, you'll quickly notice the store itself has a huge selection of products, beyond what's available at the other stores in Orange County. The store is spotless and well organized in each...
Read moreI'm a bicycle traveler with my little Chihuahua. I just never know when I go into a business for food or necessities if we're going to get told to leave or not because I have to carry her with me in my shirt. We needed groceries before Christmas and this place is in what I think of as a "well to do" neighborhood. Not only was I treated like a normal person but people were also so kind, complimenting how cute Migs is. I can't describe how much this meant to me. I can't have nice clean clothes all the time as a bicycle traveler and it's always a question how people are going to treat me because of how I look no matter what is actually in my wallet. I left here with my Christmas groceries with a smile and feeling accepted by my fellow humans. That is like gold to me and I am just...
