I waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes with 1 vehicle at the speaker in front of me. I rolled down my window and heard no exchange between an employee and the car at the speaker. They eventually drove off. I pulled up and didn't get a response from the speaker or an employee. I waited about 5 minutes then pulled up to the window. No one came to the window I saw 2 employees keep passing by without a glance. After waiting another 5 minutes I looked up the number and called. A woman answered, and I explained how long I had been waiting and that I was at the window. She said they were very busy and abruptly hung up the phone. I looked around. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot. I waited another 5 or 10 min and no response, while employees kept passing by the window without even a glance. I don't know how much longer I waited. Now extremely impatient, I held down the horn on my truck at least 5 minutes, and no one came to the window or acknowledged that I was even there. Really frustrated, I leaned out of the window of my truck and knocked on the drive thru window. None of the staff acknowledged me until a customer at the counter pointed to me while she was talking to an employee. The employee looked at me without approaching the window and raised her hands in the air like I can't do anything for you. At that point I lost it and acted very uncharactistically by raising both my middle fingers and yelling F--- You. The employee laughed at me and started dancing around to antagonize me. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live in Yorktown Virginia and on 2/10/23 my son and I visited the Hardee's location #1505584 at 7 p.m. We first attempted to order through the drive-thru but after waiting for a while for our order to be taken, I decided to order inside. When I entered the Hardees, there was an older employee leaving for the night, a manager who was trying to run the drive-thru and the lobby customers at the same time. There was also an employee in the back fixing food and a young employee trying their best to help the manager. That was it. The manager was extremely professional and kind and was trying her best to hold it together. They all were doing the best that they could. While taking my order I was talking with her and she said that their GM abandoned them and walked out on them. Let me repeat that, their GM walked out on them! There were drive-thru customers honking and yelling at her. When I received my order the manager decided to lock the doors for the lobby for fear for their safety, that is how upset drive-thru customers were acting. The manager was on the verge of tears while she talked with me. It definitely was not a safe environment for the employees and the manager but they were doing their very best. You should really be proud of them, especially the manager by the name of āAtiaā. That store definitely deserves and needs better support from the higher ups. I really believe that if you guys donāt do anything to help this store, your loyal employees could go somewhere else where they can get better support from upper management. My whole bottom of my bag was completely soaked in grease. I turned around, took my bag back. It had an awful experience. Thereās really no need to go in details just know if customer service is what youāre looking for. This is not the place Fresh hot food again. This is not the place. I was a daily customer and today will be my last I work too hard for my money. Oh, I forgot the best part after I stood at the counter for 12 1/2 minutes waiting for my remake of a sausage biscuit and hashbrowns. I was told by the cashier why do I come there every day that if she goes somewhere and their food is not right, she just doesnāt go there anymore. Talk about customer retention.
