T C's Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Newport

I have been coming to TC's for over 15 years me and my family loved in the different flavors of ice cream I just happened to come here today haven't been here in a while I know things are tough in this world right now but my opinion TC's is going down the hill I went and order some ice cream and the portion of ice cream they gave me for two scoops was a very small I ordered a large order of fries and there not that many fries I even went back to the window and said are you sure you gave me two scoops of ice cream and they said yes that's two scoops but I complained about the ice cream and they gave me a little bit more and I said is this a large fries they said yes that's a large fry I didn't want to complain about that too so I didn't say anything but I wasn't happy this time this is the first time in a long time that I wasn't happy here I know everyone can have a bad day so I'm not going to judge it off this one bad trip that I had but I was disappointed I've gotten a lot better quality here before I noticed that the help was new maybe they don't know what they're doing yet I don't know but I was just...

First and most important, you have to try their milkshakes WITH NO LID. When you order this way, you’ll get a scoop of ice cream on top of your shake and it makes an already delicious milkshake that much better. The overall atmosphere and service is lacking though. The girls working are always super friendly but it always seems they are under staffed and it is always very slow. You order through a tiny window that you have to bend over to communicate through. The outside seating and picnic tables always seem dirty and there isn’t separation between the line of people ordering and your seating. Lately I've become real disappointed here. We went this evening, I ordered vanilla malt with caramel - no trace of caramel. Husband ordered hot fudge sundae - no fudge at all, brownie was hard as a brick, no whip cream or cherry. All that and 3 cheese sticks for $21!!! 2 weeks ago, he got a hamburger and I got hotdog, buns were microwaved and hard as a brick, could not chew. Fries barely cooked and not many of them. Wayyy overpriced and very poor quality. Didn't used to be this way!! And there is never ever an adult working when we have gone over the years.
