This is one of my happy places! Get the ribeye grilled cheese sandwich…my goodness! Great local beer selection. Can get loud/lively inside on a packed day…and the decor is a little normal, but it’s a bar, not a museum. Has an expansive bar seating and quick, friendly service. Love posting up on the sunny porch with the views of the slopes. If it’s too much with the crowds you can always relocate the group around the corner in the lodge area. Update for 2025: we arrived late (had to squeeze out every last run on a Monday) and the server took such good care of us as they were closing down…piled the pulled pork nachos super high and kept the cold drinks flowing. Billy boy burger my favorite, short rib burger at the bottom but all very good. Specials like hungarian mushrooms soup and local loaded red hotdogs were great. Salads were also had and enjoyed by others in the group. Overall, lovely for what it is. Casual pub and ski grub. Biggest challenge is finding the stairs that lead to it. It's easy to miss them.
