The Coffee Hound upstairs is awesome for coffee, hot chocolate and crepes! Try it out! The Shipyard Brewhaus downstairs has great beer from Shipyard and okay food. The chili and wings are popular. Nice atmosphere outside by the fire. Otherwise Whitecap is a low key, no frills bathroom or warming stop after surviving White Heat. Small ski shop present downstairs. In the spring this base area is full of sunshine and hosts the best party of the year - with music and...

First parking lot to get on the mountain at Sunday River...I think its the oldest part of the mountain with the oldest lifts...but they do the job to get you on...
