We were in Niobrara to stay at the park and do some bird viewing. We had dinner at Sportsmen's and enjoyed our meal very much!
We had burgers - one bison and one beef. My BFF loved her bison burger and said that the flavor was delicious. It was cooked just right and had generous toppings (onion, pickle, tomato & lettuce). She mentioned how good the fries were more than once.

Read moreNo star rating!!! Can't do that so had to do one. Did a large walk in order to go and was told 25 min. Gave them 45 min and came back to them saying it's going to be another hour or so cause they had gotten busy with walk in customers. Then an hour later was called and told its going to be another hour or better cause more people came in so they would work on our order as they had time. Maybe it's better service if your there in person cause those orders are made first over to go orders, no matter when you come in. Go to Jimmy Deans lounge down the street much better service...

The bar and Steakhouse was lovely - original woodwork in great shape and a cozy, old western feel. My husband ordered a steak and I had lobster tail - it was absolutely delicious. They also have a decent beer selection, which is great. The staff was nice and polite. We also had a room in the hotel, which was conveniently attached to the saloon.
