I am a big fan of this Marcos pizza. For many months now they have been my go to spot for pizza. Staff is great, pizza is always hot and ready on time, even when I preorder. However, along with positive reviews I’ve given in the past, I also need to point out when something goes wrong.
On Christmas Eve, I ordered two pizzas to be ready at 750. I put in the order around 515. Now, in my mind this means that I have a pizza already in the queue and no matter what’s happening at the store, my pizza should be inserted into the physical line at the appropriate time to make sure that it’s ready when I asked it to be ready.
So, I get to the store a few minutes ahead of time and pay for it and the clerk says that I ought to be the second pizza out. And I can see that they are very busy. I set there and watch pizza after pizza after pizza coming out of the oven and none of them are mine. Their app alerts me to the fact that my pizza is ready about 15 minutes or so later and I ask the clerk about it. She says mine is the 6th pizza in the line. I am confused. In 20 minutes, I went from 2nd to 6th with a dozen or more pizzas in between. Finally, about 30 minutes after my pizza was scheduled to be ready, it was finally ready. Good news is that they were correct and very hot and tasty. But this also tells me that the pizza didn’t even get into the oven until after I arrived at the store. I know they were busy, but I consider this an epic failure. I did get a survey from them and I responded good for the good things and bad for the bad. The survey also asked if I wanted to be contacted and I responded yes. At the time of this writing, I’ve not heard a thing.
To the owner of this Marco’s. It’s great that you want me to PM you, but how do I do that? I’ve tried on both FB and X and haven’t heard anything and the tell Marcos site won’t allow me to leave feedback.
FYI. After I updated the review I was contacted by Marcos on X and FB. I replied with my email for someone to contact me. They replied that they would pass it along. Read moreThis was our 3rd time ordering from this location. First 2 experiences; pizzas were awesome. Our last order not so great. Placed an order for carry out online a couple days ago. Arrived 30 minutes later and was greeted, but was told it would take a “few minutes”. Waited over an hour in the store for 2 large cold pizzas (stiff crust and rubber cheese) and 1 pizza right out of the oven. Was told I would get credited by the manager, but got nothing back. I will give the young man who worked there an extra star for being honest and vouching for me when the manager rudely questioned me.
UPDATE: ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY 10/1/23 I rarely leave reviews and it’s only when it’s really BAD or really good. I would usually let it go if I’m missing something small, but if I was told I was going to get credited back then you better hold to that offer that was given to me especially when I’ve been duped by the same exact location. A year ago when I left my very first review, I should have gotten at least $40 back. I let that go and gave them another chance. Yesterday, my bill was close to $70 and was missing an item, a 2 liter bottle. I called immediately and was given two options; drop off a 2-liter or a manager will call me the next day and give me my money back. I chose to get a refund. I didn’t get a call back, so I called. Instead of the general manager getting on the phone to talk to me, he had a young teenage girl relay the message back and forth. I can clearly hear them discussing the situation in the background. Absolutely poor management. I’ve spent A LOT of money ordering from your location whenever I’ve had guests over. Yesterday, was my last. Keep the couple of dollars that you took from me. Read moreMy husband and I ordered a pizza and some wings at 6:24pm on Friday the 28th JAN.2022 and it said that it would be 7:45 for delivery. We were fine for this delivery time. When we called and talked to Jessica at 8pm to see where our pizza was,(cause it was out for delivery per tracking app) we got hung up on more than 5 times. I told her that I wasn’t mad just wanted things to be explained to me and she replied with ”What else do you want me to do?” I said “Just be nice” , she AGAIN HUNG UP ON ME. Than when I called again and she answered again and I told her that I just wanted a refund and she again hung up on me. The time now almost 8:45pm and My husband than called back and I got on the phone and told her that I’d been hung up on too many and she than preceded to tell me that she refunded me and I asked her when and she said 2-3 mins ago, (after she last hung up on me). This is terrible customer service. My husband did call back and told Jessica that he wanted to owner to call him tomorrow Jan 29th. So we shall see what lies ahead for us and this experience. I’m sorry to say that If I was owner that I would not be employing people that can not handle stressful situations.
