Food: Great! Everything always tastes fresh and perfectly cooked. Whether it's noodles, rice, fish, or salad — every dish is consistently delicious and well-prepared.

Prices: Reasonable. On top of that, they serve complimentary hot soup, an appetizer, and a dessert. Talk about value for your money! Another Fancy Sushi location in Jacksonville does the same, and it’s a really nice and appreciated touch.

Staff: Always polite and attentive. They check in regularly without being intrusive.

My Issue with This Place: Bathroom cleanliness needs attention. The faucet was loose and wobbly, and the garbage bin was rusted. That’s a small detail, but it leaves a bad impression.

Also, during my first visit, the floors were being mopped while I was eating, and the strong soap smell was overpowering. I let it go, assuming they might’ve been closing early. However, on a recent visit, staff were spraying down tables around me with a cleaning solution that had a similarly strong chemical odor. It really affects the dining experience—strong cleaning smells don’t mix well with food.

I don’t want to judge the entire place based only on maintenance practices, because the food truly is excellent, and the prices are more than fair. This is more of a respectful plea to the owner: please avoid using harsh chemicals or cleaning around diners during mealtimes. It would go a long way in making an already great place...

Hands down, the best restaurant service I’ve had, ANYWHERE. Tan wasn’t just our server; he was a mind-reader, a magician, and a five-star concierge all in one. The moment I sat down, I was greeted with a piping hot bowl of soup and a complimentary appetizer, no request needed. It was like he knew exactly what I needed before I even walked in the doors.

I ordered the steak hibachi (thanks to Tan’s recommendation!) and from the very first bite of the salad, with the freshest, crispest greens and the most flavorful ginger dressing I’ve ever tasted. I knew I was in for something special. The steak? Every piece cooked to a perfect medium rare. Not some, ALL!

And just when I thought service couldn’t get any better, Tan beat me to the punch when I reached for a to-go box. He appeared instantly with the box, the check, and then- because why not? … dessert on the house: warm, crispy fried Oreos and fortune cookies.

Tan made it feel like I was the most important guest in the place. Fancy Sushi isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. Come here and get ready for the kind of service you’ll be telling everyone about.
