Noonday Store — Restaurant in Noonday

I have no idea how this place has been rated so highly! We stopped here to eat after a 2 hour drive from Dallas. First off, staff was not friendly when we ordered. We as in myself,husband,my inlaws. The meat had been sitting out at room temp. The lady taking the order was smoking a cig. Gross!! She wasn't the only one...the woman handling the food wasn't wearing gloves, after putting her cig out she grabbed a handful of frozen chicken tenders (my daughters meal)and tossed them in the fryer. My father in law asked for a side of ranch and ketchup and she barked "that's .60 cents." He's 74... While waiting for our food on the bench table out front I happened to look through the window into the store and there's a ton of empty cig boxes,trash,dust and God knows what between the glass and the counter. I live in Tyler on the ENE side and drove all the way here, to the blue store. Just to get 4 hamburgers. Cuz I think are the best around tyler. Don't mind the driving , but this sunday Feb 5th 2023. Really made not to make the drive anymore just be taking care of a smartmouth short height female . I really love the Hispanic staff, they are more friendly and polite and nor sarcastic. Be coming here for years and never encounter this. Really feel upset about it. I hope this changes or will have to avoid this...

After several recommendations by neighbors we finally decided to try the burgers at Noonday Store. What a treat! Hamburgers and cheeseburgers made the way you want and taste the way they're supposed to. Although they're basically the same, there's a subtle but pleasant difference from all the franchise burgers.
