Our friends put their name on the list for New Years around 5:40, we got seated at 7:15. I get it, it was busy. The food was good and so were the drinks! My biggest problem was our waitress. She spent so much time at the other tables, all the fountain drinks got to our table shortly after we ordered, our drinks from the bar took about 20 minutes. We had a 3 year old at the table and she didn't bring a spoon with the soup, the child was so hungry she was throwing a tantrum so we had to use a straw for the soup so she didn't keep eating with a fork. My table mates had warm beers and my mixed drink was somewhat melted. When soup came I ordered another drink, my table mates then stopped a different waitress and got their beers ice cold immediately, I waited another 20-30 minutes for a single mixed drink! I waited so long that I got up to walk down to the bar myself, which is when the food came. Our waitress said she'd be right back with it but then was gone another 10 minutes only to come back with tea for other tables and my table mates. She finally came back with my drink, but my husband picked up a fry off his plate and they were cold and floppy, and my sauce was starting to separate which implies it was sitting in the back for a while. The flavors were perfect but it really wasn't worth an almost 2 hour wait. This was my first experience here and I'm not sure if I'll be back by the way we were treated. We were a party of six, three adults and three children. Right off the person serving us said that there was a large party coming in and that she was going to take their order first. Mistake, take the table that’s there first and get it out of the way. An hour and a half later food was finally delivered and surprise, it was cold. Check finally delivered, had to wait on that too. No adjustment for how poor things were but then was dropped off a lame piece of cake to make up for it. First time I’ve have ever not tipped-Manager was the one waiting on us. Read moreI worked food for 8 years in many restaurants, including being a manager. Food was really good but our server Jake acted like he was high out of his mind. Another girl (very nice) took our drink order after we flagged her down since nobody came to our table for 15 minutes. She brought drinks and said "Kyle" would be taking care of us. He walked by the table several times without saying anything. Had to flag the waiter down and go to the bar to get drinks. The staff couldn't figure out how to split our ticket 3 ways. Im.writing this at my table as we have been waiting for 30 minutes without a good explanation. Again, I worked the food industry for a long time and I am now an engineer and have no idea what they can't figure out. Every point of sale software can split a ticket.
