Golden Chopstick, at $12 for a large beef chow mein, runs on a completely different model. Smaller batch cooking means higher costs, but also meals that are tailored by hand. The noodles are meant to be long, soft, and saucy—carrying flavor instead of grease—and that reflects the effort of wok-fired preparation and fresh ingredients. Economically, a portion this size stretches into two meals, so the “cost per serving” is often better than Panda’s combo. Panda Express has its strengths: $10.85 gets you a plate that’s fast, consistent, and built on a nationwide supply chain. That efficiency makes it accessible and cheap, but the trade-off is quality—ingredients are pre-portioned, flavors are standardized, and noodles often turn out oily, broken, and more filler than food. The comparison is straightforward: chains optimize for convenience, while family restaurants fight to stay afloat by offering authenticity and craftsmanship. Sometimes speed and savings win. But other times, it’s worth spending a couple more dollars to enjoy food that feels intentional, cultural, and made with effort instead of automation.

Food is okay but small for the price. Could go to panda Express for cheaper and more food. However, I will give them the wide range of food they supply. And it comes hot and fresh. Management was not very nice. Pretty rude and dismissive. They even got into an argument in front of us. Plus, we got a lunch special which comes for a drink but didn't know when we get it. We saw the soda fridge but was unsure. So we ask about the soda and her reply was "Yes. yes. The fridge." Then turned away. Not gonna go back.

Golden Chopsticks offers a decent Chinese food experience, but it’s not without its flaws. The food was ready remarkably fast—only two minutes—. The dish was just okay, with a noticeable amount of sugar and a lack of fresh ingredients. On the plus side, the portion sizes are generous, and you get an eggroll and a soda with your dinner meal, which adds value. The price is fair for what you get, but overall, it’s more of a convenient option than a memorable one. Ordered: General Pho’s chicken

If you're hypersensitive you may not want to call here. During the lunch rush, there is a female employee that is a wee bit curt with customers when they call to place orders. To some degree, I understand she's trying to manage a large volume of calls and people who are there in person to place orders. Most of all, these are the customers you longed for to keep your business afloat so it may bode well to try a little patience and show some appreciation for those who do business here.

They are quick with preparing orders. It may not take that long for your items to be prepared but calling ahead is encouraged to get in and get out. One thing that bothered me is that although indoor dining is not allowed at this time, the area looked like a catch all for random storage with items in disarray.

If you have a paper menu, there are promotions based on the amount you spend. Daily lunch specials are available and you can order the dinner specials all day. Limited parking that is shared with a laundromat next door.

I ordered the beef with broccoli that came with fried rice. It was flavorful and tasted as I imagined it would. The bourbon chicken lunch special also came with fried rice but would have been better with a little more sauce but my son enjoyed it.

Capable of accepting contactless pay, credit cards and cash for your payment options. There was no charge to pay via credit card but check to verify if there is a spend minimum to use credit.

Not a terrible visit but hoping that the clutter was a...

HORRIBLE SERVICE ON THE PHONE AND FOOD. Guys save your time calling here! , lady on the phone is EXTREMELY rude, her English is poor and she doesn’t like answering questions or repeating herself. My wife made an order of probably more than $100 for all her navy team and she was yelling at her on the phone. It is CRAZY that this place runs like that. I don’t mind if they are having a bad day once in a while is fine but still as a restaurant you should have the patience to answer what comes in the combo as many times as is needed when you don’t understand a Chinese accent. THIS IS A CONSTANT BEHAVIOR FROM THE RESTAURANT and I am latina myself and there is plenty of ppl that I have to repeat myself at work and in general because of my accent and that is okay. THIS PLACE IS A CERO ! Go...
