DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM HERE!!! My boyfriend and I placed a DoorDash order from here a few days ago and when our dasher arrived, there was no order there for pickup. They told him that someone must have stolen the order. Instead of remaking the order, the restaurant told us to re-order the food (Aka they get paid twice).
I work in the food service where we too do DoorDash.
When someone comes in to pickup a door dash order, it is up to us as workers to verify that they are the dasher (show us the phone and order) before they take it.
On the chance that someone just comes in and swipes it, or even if you slip up and happen to miss something (its okay, we’re all human), but if you see that the order is gone and you know that you DID make the order, you are able to go back to your system and SEE WHAT THE ORDER WAS!! And then you remake it!! No, you do not have to re-order because they can see the previous order and remake it.
To top it off, the restaurant worker we spoke to, didn’t get his name but it was a male, was VERY rude and aggressive in saying we just needed to re order it. He also mentioned that orders being stolen from that restaurant “happens all the time, like all day.”
If orders being stolen from you happens all the time, you need to do better in making sure that stops. BUT AGAIN- You don’t charge people twice! You just remake it. It’s ultimately the restaurant’s fault that the order was either not made or in fact taken, even if it was an accident.
On DoorDash, this restaurant closes at a certain time in the morning so we literally couldn’t even re order it if we wanted to. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s their job to keep track of orders and remake them if something goes...
