Watergate 2 — Restaurant in Norfolk

So this is a small convenience store. The guys here are all very friendly. The food here is awesome, 1 because of the taste and 2 because of the price. This place has the best chicken gizzards in Norfolk hands down and you can get a large plate of them for like that it is like $5 and I mean a large plate, they got the hot sauce, ketchup, and seasoned salt in big bottles for you to smother them in too, Then you can get 10 deep fried chicken wings and they are great with no sauce or anything on them just some banging wings for like $7.50-$8. I mean you can put the hot sauce stuff on them as well. The burgers and fries are great, better than any fast food place around and cheaper. Now some of the other stuff in the store is a little pricey but that is normal for a small privately owned convenience store. The other food on the menu is good too I have had a few different items they have all been good and they are all reasonably priced. All I know is these guys throw down in their little kitchen, they are literally serving up some good food at a price that doesn't hurt you. So if you are on a budget and need a lunch option that isn't going to eat up your wallet, hit this place up. Forget the fast food places where every meal is like $15-20 dollars nowadays, you can go in here and get a meal and a drink that is better than any fast...

Placed an order around 3:30 ( they confirmed at 3:33) to be picked up at 4:45. I work about 6 minutes away, but wanted to be sure I could pick my food and make it back beforey 30 min. break was over. I arrived at 5:10 and told them I was there for a pick up order. The gentleman taking orders told the cook in the back something about my order. Everyone then was distracted by another guy who came to visit them, after that gentlemen left, I guess they remembered me because the gentlemen taking orders yells ohh then says something to the cook again. I asked how long. They told me 2 mins. 2 mins later the cook come to ask the other gentleman something about my order. 2 minutes later still no food so I left. I waited a total of 15 minutes for an order that was supposed to be ready 20 minutes prior. A waste of time, energy and gas, just to return to work...

so far so good it is not the best of looking of places but the food sure is the people seem very nice even though I can't understand them half the time lol barbecue sandwiches are amazing the carrot cake is amazing all the cakes are amazing these cheesecakes and red velvet cake seem like they just fell right off New York's corner I come here often with my boyfriend for lunchand they're very speedy so if you have a certain amount of time and lunch is a really good place to go to the prices are amazing as well so bypass the exterior and interior and go ahead and get...
