My boyfriend and I tried this place just a few moments ago, and while we enjoyed the food and paid (even though I did ask about our bill to confirm it was correct) I have taken a look at the menu and figured out we were overcharged with automatic gratuity. The menu states that if there are parties of 5 or more, or if you are eating after 8pm. There were two of us, and we arrived and ordered at 530pm and walked out before 7pm as of me writing this review. The tip itself ended up being almost $10, an added automatic 18% gratuity and when I asked the server if that was correct cause I had recalled on the menu that was for parties of 5 or more, but in actuality it says that and also “if you are dining after 8pm.” We met neither of those conditions for our server to just add automatic gratuity to our bill like that, and we spoke to her all of 3 times. Food was good, but didn’t come out as it was supposed to, they forgot our appetizer and so we waited on that to come after our food. We both had waters, which never needed to be refilled. I am never the type to leave no tip as I have worked in the service industry in the past, but this was predatory and the server made it seem like (when I asked her directly) that the automatic gratuity was appropriately charged when it was not per the establishments menu. She said “it depends on the amount and time frame”and that is not what the menu states at all. Posted receipt for proof of reference. I should have asked the person at the front of the establishment or to see a menu once more before paying to have it corrected, but I took the server at her word even though it didn’t seem right. I’d honestly appreciate my gratuity returned because of this conduct- nothing against our server personally, but you should not do that to customers who would have likely returned or let other service members on base know to dine at this establishment; because of this, I don’t see a reason to do that if the servers take advantage of customers. And I’m 6 months pregnant and did not order any type of alcoholic...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Ziggy's Bar and Grille, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the staff remained friendly and professional throughout the evening, making sure all our needs were met.
The food was simply phenomenal. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You could tell that high-quality ingredients were used, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. Whether you’re looking for something classic or a bit more adventurous, the menu offers a great variety to satisfy all tastes.

Read moreMe & my cousin wanted to taste their food to see what the hype was about🤣we originally went to the granby location but they closed early due to Juneteenth as well as the Portsmouth location. The only location that was open was this one. I live in Portsmouth & my cousin live in Virginia Beach. We ordered our “pasta” to go due to it being extremely hot in there. Once we got home & tasted our food, that shit was a disaster. The pasta was extremely salty. We both threw our food in the trash. Not to mention we really wanted to taste their jerk chicken eggrolls but this location doesn’t sell them. Let’s just say y’all OVER hyped their food, well pasta for sure. We were thinking about going to the location on granby street today but idk. What I do know is that we won’t be coming back to...
