I would say the cake slice I bought was delicious. But then Iāll have to talk about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter 3 weeks ago in person. The guy who took my order with them told me to make any change I could call and let them know 2 days before the pickup. I called them and when I asked about it, they said I have to again come in person which I did today. I had lost the receipt and when I talked to them on the phone they said I could come and tell them the details of the order to look it up. But when I was at their shop, the girl in the front said they could not look for any changes to the order but they could only use it during pickup. I was so upset and was trying to find a way out to order a larger size for the cake. Then the girl started to get angry and told me I could not come there with an attitude. Instead of trying to help a customer, who is already upset with everything there, they were making them feel bad. I left the bakery and soon my husband was able to go back and get a refund for half the price we paid earlier. Have never experienced such a thing before. The girl in the front needs to help customers kindly. Everything to be ordered in person is inconvenient in the first place, in addition to that they cannot help anyone on the phone, etc is extremely difficult.
I wonāt be a returning customer.
Things to note if you are ordering a cake there:
I come here often to buy tres leches cakes for all occasions. While their cakes can be tasty, their attitude and customer service can be disgusting. There have been many times where the staff acts as if they are doing the customer a favor by providing them with service. On one occasion, I pre-ordered a cake days in advance, since they require that any one order in person-not over the phone, but they had not even started the cake when I arrived 30mins after the set pick up time. On another occasion, I expressed my opinion about their choices of colors for the writing on the cake and both employees at the register proceeded to make snarky comments while I was stranding in front of them thinking I couldnāt hear them. The only real good thing they have going for them is the taste of half of their products, but the customer service is way below par. It seems that the fact that they are one of the best Mexican bakeries in the area has gotten to their head and they may feel like they donāt need to be courteous or respectful to their customers as a result.
